Works as should
Size: 1500 GPH
Works great but not enough flow for my application
Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2025 by More Chinese Junk. Cart wood was chipped and very light. No tool to secure bolt head to nut. No washers for between wheel and nut for bolt was non locking leg. Wheels do not turn so had to buy all new wheel hardware including longer bolts, two washers for each week of which one was nylon and nyloc locking nuts. Cost me another $6.45. Overall was frustrated and very disappointed in overall quality. I’m interested in longevity. Always keep outside with cover over

Replace a 20 year old pump of the same model
Size: 1500 GPH
My sailboat came with one of these pumps when I bought it 22 years ago. The boat, and the pump have been around the world and covered close to 50,000 miles. So when the old pump failed I was not in the least bit tempted to try another brand. I have no idea how many gallons the old pump moved over the years but it was a lot. The only thing I dont like about this pump is the way the outlet is arranged. Because it comes straight out of the bottom of the pump I have to add a short bit of hose and a plastic elbow to turn the output up and out of the bilge. It would be much more convenient, in my installation, if the output were straight up. ... show more

Great pump
Size: 1500 GPH
Great pump, had to replace my old rule 1500 pump. It only lasted 24 years. Therefore made sure to put exact pump back in.

This thing can pump some water! Very quiet.
I've always had good luck with Rule bilge pumps, so when I wanted to install a new pump on an older used boat I bought it seemed like a no brainer to get a Rule pump. I opted for this model since it was the largest that would fit in the space I had to put it in. I figure that you will never regret getting too bit of a bilge pump if it comes down to you really needing it. Easy to install as other Rule pumps are and this pump is really quiet. I had to keep running back to the bilge and putting my ear on the deck when I was wiring up the switch to see if was working because I couldn't hear it. Now, if the bilge is full, you know it is working because this thing really pushed the water. I think the 1500 GHP must be a pretty conservative estimate. I've only had it for 4 months, so I can't speak on the durability of this particular model, but I've thought I always gotten my money's worth from this brand of pump. ... show more
