If you're looking for a super plush carpet look at the price again. For the price it's a decent carpet. Very low pile, a little more plush than industrial or office carpet. It is thin but again look at the price, it's not crazy thin. I've had zero issues with it unrolling, have no creases. One end does want to curl up just a little but that's because it was in the center of the Roll. I think a few books laid on it for a couple of days and it's going to lay down fine. It does slide because it doesn't have any rubber backing but my coffee table sitting on it is holding it down fine I'm just going to go to Jo-Ann's and buy the rubber material they have in bulk and put that under it. And as for odor it does have an odor but it's a rolled-up carpet I mean they all have a chemical smell. This is day two and I still smell it a little but it's not overwhelming, the lady who bathed in perfume at the store today bothered me more. The colors are pretty true too. My only concern is when something gets spilled on it how well it's going to clean up. Once that happens and I have cleaned something spilled on it. I was fearing the carpet would arrive with creases but there were none. After unpackaging we rolled the rug back up opposite way over night so it would naturally lay flat when we unrolled to lay it out the next day. It worked like a charm đź‘Ť As you can see in pics there are no creases either. Very happy with the quality and colors. I really do love the colors and print on this rug, but I can't. for the life of me, get it to lay flat. It was delivered rolled, as you'd expect, but it had two strips of tape around the rug. Since it wasn't rolled inside-out, it left some pretty noticeable indentations on the rug (see photo). It is also slightly stretched or warped, because there are spots that bubble and stick up, even when I don't have furniture sitting on it. I tried to iron, but with no success at all (and be aware if you're going to attempt this, to place something over the rug surface and under it to protect the rug fibers and your floor). I laid heavy items on it overnight, and that didn't really seem to fix the issue, either. I guess it might settle over time, but it seems unlikely. If you're someone who spots imperfections easily and it drives you crazy (like me), this is going to bug you. Luckily, it works out so that it's positioned with most of the lumpy parts under the couch. It's possible this isn't much of an issue with the smaller versions of this rug. I do love how the rug looks in the space I've placed it, so I'm trying to focus on that rather than the imperfections. All in all, it's a great price for the size of the rug. I'll be interested in seeing how well it holds up to my three little kids and two big dogs. Edit: a few weeks in and several vacuumings later and some of the uneven spots have settled flat. I still have some areas that don't sit perfectly flat, but most of the rug looks good. There are still lines where the rug was taped, though. It doesn't appear that those will go away. ... show more

The material that the rug is made of makes it look old and dingy within a week. The material appears to collect ever gradual of dirt and never wants to let go. The rug lacks quality and durability. If it’s not the worst rug that Amazon has to buy then it is at least in the top five worst rugs.
