    • These rugs are not "non-slip"

I read in the description that these were non-slip rugs. That was important to me. They are quite slippery rugs. I had to get rug tape and tape them to the floor. Fortunately the floor is slick tile and not hardwood so I could do that. But I was disappointed that I had to do that.

I love the colors and quality of this carpet. I got it for a great price, but I see it’s gone up since then. I got my money’s worth. Buying a carpet online is always a risk and this risk was worth it. Just be sure to read the directions on how to get rid of the wrinkles when you first open it so it won’t be so wrinkly when you lay it down ... show more

I must say, what a beautiful rug it is and even more beautiful in person. I got a little teary when I first sawed it only because it is a feeling that I can not explain after a couple of years of looking/searching. (I'm not picky but I like to buy something worth enough that it will last.) I have been eyeing on a couple of rugs and couldn't decide on which one til I made the decision to buy this rug. (I'm so happy and glad that I did.) I wanted a rug that wasn't too much and yet wasn't boring at the same time or in other words, something that wasn't going to look common in most rugs these days. I thought this rug stood out to me the most for everything I've mentioned about. I didn't have a problem with my packaging like some reviewers mentioned about. It was packaged properly. Yes, when I rolled out my rug, it was not flat but that didn't bother me nor was it even a problem. I did use heavy weights and something else heavy to help hold the rug down to make it flat and it is working. (Just give it time and it will flatten out somehow.) The rug is thin but not too thin if you know what I mean. For a thin rug, it really is soft and thick in a way once you put your feet on it. (The level of the thickness wasn't my concern though.) The color I chose was the black with the gray and cream design. I purchased it in two different sizes for my living room and my dining room. Boy am I just at awe looking at it right now.
