10/10!!!! Almost bought this rug a million times from rugs USA, but could not justify the $600+ price tag for a 9x12. Stumbled across the exact same one for less than $300 here on Amazon and I took a chance on it, despite some negative reviews and it is absolute PERFECTION. No harsh chemical smells most rugs come with, THICK, quality made, and so, so beautiful!! It’s not rough, but not the coziest carpet either, but my children and I have had no issues sitting or playing on it. There is a scant amount of shed, but nothing too noticeable or awful yet. I wish I could give this rug 100 stars!! It literally looks like the high end rugs I can’t afford! It’s so beautiful and affordable! It will literally go with just about any color. It came quick, no smells and it’s quite soft for a wool rug. I know some reviews talk about shedding and that’s it’s not soft, but I haven’t experienced any of that. Note… I ordered the 8x10 but it’s actually 7’6”x 9’6”. That matters if you live in a small space like me. If you look at the description at the top of the page when you click on the 8x10 size when ordering, it tells you that. Not sure why they don’t have it listed correctly in the size choices. They have many colors to choose from, so just buy it!! You won’t be disappointed! ... show more

I've had this rug for about a month now. I haven't had any unusual foot traffic on it during that time and I've vacuumed it about 2-3 times. I'm now finding a lot of unraveling and loose pieces. I'm so disappointed! I loved it at first; the colors, the design, the size, and the fact that it is wool and not some cheap polyester fabric are all perfect. But the durability? Not so much. At the rate I'm finding loose threads I'll have to replace it before long and it wasn't cheap. Again, I am very disappointed in the construction quality of this rug. If the seller or manufacturer wants to reach out to me, I would love to discuss a refund. Would I recommend it? Nope, not unless you're into wasting money. 5-month review - This rug is completely shot now. I plan to put it out streetside today for trash pick-up. What a complete waste of 400.! I LOVE the look of this rug! I initially bought it for my first grade classroom. The pictures made it look like it would be a softer texture, but it is wool and was “too itchy” for the kids. But they are whiny 🫡 and they would pick at the rug and we had orange wool tumble weeds rolling around the classroom all day. Sooo I took it home. I have two big dogs and they do not complain of it being itchy and they do not create tumble weeds. The color is not quite the same color as the photo (a little more brown) which I was initially kind of ehhh about, but I have actually really like the color now. ... show more

Looks just like the photos!! BUT you have to get a rug mat if you get this rug. As far as indoor rugs go, this is on the rougher side and not very thick (good for a heavy foot traffic areas). The thing that saved this comfort wise was a thick rug mat. So if you plan on putting this rug in an area that you will lay/sit on it frequently, I would opt for a different one. To address some of the reviews I saw before purchasing: I didn’t notice any crazy smell. When opening it there was a very faint one but it quickly went away. I haven’t noticed much shedding either but Iv only had it for a couple of days. Overall great value for the price!! ... show more

I was extremely hesitant buying this rug because it is expensive. BUT the quality matches the price, it feels fantastic and once I had the idea for this exact rug pattern in my head for my living room, I had to have it. It goes so beautifully in my living room and I dont regret purchasing.

*I have been using this rug for a bit over 3 months now* First, this rug is beautiful to look at. I cannot deny that. However, I have several issues with it. Starting with the most minor issue, the smell. If you spend much time playing or laying on this rug, you will smell like hay… or maybe manure… lol… afterwards. This doesn’t bother me a ton on myself, however my toddler is a whole different story. My second issue with this rug is the “pulls” when the loops get snagged, they yank out and there are long strings attached on one end to the carpet. So I have to get down with scissors and cut them off. You cannot pull them back through. So if you have dogs, I’d avoid this. Third and biggest issue. OMG! The shedding! I have a shark stand up vacuum and a dyson (large version) stick vacuum and it will fill the tanks in both of them however many times I decide to vacuum at once. I could literally just fill the canister, empty it, fill it again, empty it, etc etc. endlessly! I have never seen anything like it. It also CLOGS the vacuums bc the shedding is so fine, it starts backing up in multiple spots in the vacuums. Other than that, it LOOKS like my dream rug. However, if I keep vacuuming it, I imagine eventually it will disappear 🤣 it’s WILD! ... show more
