Although when the rug was delivered, the plastic wrapping was tore so I was worried it could have gotten soiled while it was on my porch. Glad we didn't have rain or it would have got wet. Being an elderly woman, I managed to drag it into the house and had to wait till my son to come to help me get it placed in the room, because It was heavy. It took a couple of days for the folded creases to lay flat. I really love this shag rug it's just the right highth and after vacuumed it's really soft on the feet. Great buy for the right price!

These are great for the price. They look fabulous inside your home! I feel like the shag stays fluffy for quite a long time without matting down. As soon as you vacuum, everything pops right back up like it’s brand new. We’ve had ours for about a year. I will say they aren’t the most padded. But they are overall great for what you get for the money. I love them! But just don’t expect anything that super padded. A padding underneath would probably be needed if you want to feel cushion.

I find it very difficult to order rugs online, even on Amazon. I knew if I received a rug and it wasn’t any good, it would be a nightmare returning it. I looked at ALL of the rugs, and then decided on getting this 8x10. Great great choice. It arrived two days early and came out of the plastic bag without any trace of the chemical odor that you sometimes get when you order rugs. I’ve ordered other large rugs from Amazon, and though they eventualities turned out great, there was a definite chemical smell that lasted a long time. Tjis was after repeated doses of baking soda. This rug looks great in the room, was the exact color as shown on Amazon and was laid down without any fold lines. The price wasn’t bad. Wasn’t the top priced one but it wasn’t the cheapest. Very happy with my purchase. If I need any more rugs similar to this, I will definitely buy it again.

I like the rug. It’s soft and cozy on my bare feet. And it looks nice too. But I want to point out how responsive and helpful customer service was. FedEx delivered my rug to the wrong address, 70 miles away. When I contacted the seller, they communicated with FedEx to pick up the package and deliver it to the right address. Over the next two weeks, I exchanged multiple messages with customer service regarding the status of the package. I was starting to think it would not arrive in time for our Christmas celebration. However, the seller was kind enough to send out a second package, and it arrived the day before our Christmas gathering! Perfect timing. Really appreciate the communication and effort the seller put into making sure I received the rug in time for gifting.

The photographs of the rug just are not accurate enough, even after viewing it on a couple different computers. Some photos do not do it justice, while others do not capture how silver the color actually is. I do not see how silver can be described as "cloud gray." I do not like the color and would not have purchased it knowing how silver it is. I was going to seek a refund, but my daughter intervened. She loves the color and wants the rug in her bedroom. Now I am just waiting for her to help me move her furniture. As far as quality, this is an inexpensive rug. However, the quality for the price is impressive. The shag pile is not very dense/thick, but also not too sparse. The pile is also tall enough to feel good on bare feet, but not so tall it cannot easily be vacuumed. Some reviewers did not care for the feel of it, but I find it soft enough when barefooted. I do have softer area rugs, but these also cost four times as much. I had also intended for this rug to be in a loft we are almost never in. Some reviewers also complained about the smell, and it did smell bad when I removed it from the plastic. It was the strongest chemical odor I ever experienced from a rug. It took a few days, but the odor went away without using Febreze. Finally, what about the dreaded wrinkles common with area rugs? I was worried about this rug because it was more folded than rolled because the backing is so malleable. It was very wrinkled when I unfolded it and placed it on a carpet pad that was on solid flooring. After a few days the rug was nice and flat without needing to weigh down the corners. If the photographs were better, I would give this rug four or five stars considering the quality you get for the price. I was going to buy the graphite gray version of this rug but decided against it because of this purchase experience. You experience and/or taste may vary, and this rug may be a five-star experience for you.

This piece is actually being used to widen an identical 6x8’ rug from this company which I got the week prior. I was a little nervous that the two pieces wouldn’t match each other in dye lot or thickness, but with some carpet tape keeping the pieces together it’s almost seamless! I already had a thick felt rug pad purchased from Amazon two years ago that I took from my dining room rug and put it under this so that when I walk on it, it’s even more comfortable and feels a bit more luxurious. The rug would have been fine with just a regular rubber mat underneath, but this thick rug pad just cranks it up a notch! Besides, I drop my phone a lot, so the extra padding keeps my phone in tact while buffering the thud the apartment below me must endure. For the price, I was pleased at how dense the fibers are. It’s shag, so needs more frequent vacuuming. Mine is a Miele canister style without a beater bar, so the suction is enough to lift dirt without fear of pulling yarns or snagging them, yet it fluffs the carpet beautifully. These two pieces combined give me the equivalency of a 6x10’ rug anchoring my apartment’s living space under my sofa and I couldn’t be happier! All for under $100! At that price you could afford to hate it! But fortunately, there’s nothing but love here. I’m delighted with the color, thickness, & easy care. Looks much more expensive and feels so nice between my toes!
