I did dislike that size of pad, I ordered an 8’ x 10’ pad for an 8’ x 10’ rug. I figured it would be a little smaller than rug. The pad was Great, it’s quality was top notch. A nice product at a good price. Packaging was great.

Rug pad provides a nice level of softness under rugs without being too bulky. My rug is a bit smaller than the standard size rug pads so I trimmed a few inches with scissors and it worked great. Rugs stays put decently on wood floors (although furniture holds it in place as well). Would purchase again for other rugs. ... show more

This is very squishy and thick. It sheds a lot so working with it is a bit messy. There's no rubber on this under carpet pad, or any other anti slip material and it slides very easily around on hardwood floors. In terms of poofy softness that it adds to the carpet it is very nice. Putting furniture on it causes it to compress and it does not rebound well even after weeks of relaxing once it's squished down. On the whole a good pad, plan to use carpet anti slip pads on it. ... show more

In my opinion, this rugpad is good for the price. I purchased a 9 x 12 x 1/4 and installed it by myself over a hardwood floor. Fairly easy to trim to size. The quality of the pad is good. No inconsistencies in manufacturing noted. Shipped in a box rather than wrapped in plastic. The pad is folded inside the box, not rolled up. This is a great rug pad! My rug installer did not want to use it because it did not have a rubber backing and he said it would be too slippery on my hardwoods. Nothing could be further from the truth. The weight of the rug and the furniture anchor it in place. It adds a nice softness under the rug. I am glad I purchased this. ... show more

To start, this rug pad offers great cushion. However, it is so slippery that I don't see how it could be used anywhere that it could be walked on unless almost entirely covered, including furniture on the 4 corners. I know that it is listed as not being intended as "non-slip" and they have other products than that, but a less than 12" wide border/corner exposed under a bed is still too hazardous to leave unsecured. Given that, I don't really see the point in this product since if it has to be entirely pinned under furniture, you probably wouldn't be walking on it. ... show more
