I'm really glad the product details specified that this rug pad is NOT non-slip. That's really important to note, because it is DEFINITELY slippy. But that's okay for my use, as all 3 that I ordered are going to be anchored under heavy furniture. Just make sure that will be good for your use case, too. That said, the pad itself is great! All 3 that I ordered (1/4 inch, 8x10) arrived on time and were well packaged. Coming out of the package, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no smell or anything. And they were rolled up, so there weren't really any folds that I had to get out. The pads are all the same size and thickness... which, when it comes to size, is bigger by at least an inch than all of my 8x10 rugs. That's okay, though, I'd rather they be bigger than smaller, and they're easy to cut with a good pair of scissors. So no issues there! As far as thickness, they make SUCH a difference! My rugs feel much more plush and cushy. I'll be honest, I didn't want to spend the money on rug pads. But I'm moving into a new house, and moving from wall to wall carpeting to hardwood floors and area rugs, and my mother *insisted* that I get these. I chose these specific pads because they looked pretty good, and more importantly, they were cheap. And I hate to say it... but my mom was right. My rooms feel MUCH more cozy after I added these pads under my rugs. I was prepared to not really notice a difference, given the price on these, but instead I'm left feeling like I got a great value! So yeah, great rug pads, definitely recommend!

It is completely felt as advertised. It does provide thickness to my Amazon rug which is very thin. I ordered the 8 x 10 and it's larger than my 8x10 rug but I believe the 8x10 Amazon rug is shorter than 8x10 which doesn't bother me. However, the thick felt pad is very difficult; almost impossible to cut with regular scissors. But aside from that I am pleased. I am still deciding whether to keep the Amazon rug but for sure I will keep the pad since it makes the thin rug much more thick. I would recommend the rug pag.

We ordered these rug pads in several sizes, using 1/4” for hallways and bedrooms and 3/8” in large family and living rooms. They were generous in size and easy to trim for a custom fit. We chose to get the pad without the grip because our furniture holds the rug in place. I wasn’t sure if the grip would leave marks on our floor over time. They are being used on hardwood floors and give the rugs a plush feel. Delivery was quick and we would order again.

This rug pad is so nice! I’ve never bought a pad to go under a rug before. Now that I have a 10 month old and spend so much time on the floor, I thought it was time. I got the 1/2” thick and it provides enough padding for my baby if he falls and enough comfort for mom and dad. It does come big so I had to cut it down with some. I cut it a bit smaller than the actual rug to allow the rug to fall to the ground to prevent tripping. My rug did slide a bit on it before putting furniture down. Overall though, I am happy with the purchase!

We are loving how nice it feels to walk on our old rug with this pad under it. Previously we had one of those waffle pads, which was pretty thin, and less cushiony. 1/4" thickness is perfect for us, wouldn't want more. We have the rug anchored by furniture on two sides, it's staying in place. One thing I would say is that we had been depending on the measurement of the pad to be accurate, and it turned out wider than the size in the listing. You need to have good mobility and hand strength to trim the pad, and we have neither. It was problematic. Next time I think I would order directly from the company's site -- I think it would be easier to specify the exact measurements I need. That said, we had excellent communication from the company when we contacted them about the issue, and they resolved it very fairly. So high marks for both the company and the pad.

I've bought several rug pads from this company over the years. I just moved and needed to buy some more. I got an 8x10 3/8" for the living room. It is very thick and comfortable. It has smooth felt on both sides. I did need to trim it a good amount but it was not difficult to cut with regular scissors. I also got 8x10 1/4" for the dining room. On this pad, one side is smooth and the other side has a rough feeling texture to it. I put that side up faces the rug. This one only needed very minimal trimming. Overall, happy with both pads, I just didn't expect there to be a difference between the two. I plan to buy another one soon.

It came with huge creases & ripples due to being rolled very tight. It was folded in half, but one of the whole corners was folded in so had many creases as it was rolled. It took extreme massaging, by two of us, as we tightly rolled it around a hard cardboard tube (which I had saved from the area rug that this pad was going under). We left it rolled up for 24hrs. There were still significant creases/distortions when we unrolled it & put the area rug over it. Luckily the rug is heavy & stiff, so it’s okay. It gives adequate cushion under the rug, but we shouldn’t have had to work so hard!
