The rug is extremely thin but is not poor quality. It has a nice backing on it and is sturdy, but if you're looking for a plush toe sinking rug this would not be it. The material is actually rather slick so I would not recommend it for elderly persons who may have slipping and falling issues. But it is incredibly easy to clean buy vacuuming They say it is machine washable but you would have to go to a laundromat with an industrial washer to get it all in. I don't ever plan on doing so, as spill's are very easily blotted up with paper towels. We have cats who unfortunately cough up the occasional hairball. This rug cleans up fantastically and you can spot clean with a little soap and water. We've had no staining issues. The only reason I did not get it five star is due to the fact that it is a bit slick and could be an issue for someone with an unsteady gait or using a cane or crutches. ... show more

I wanted a rug to put under our pool table. I liked this one for the price, first. But when it arrived, and we laid it out, I was really happy. It comes folded but the folds relaxed pretty quickly. The surface is nice and soft. It’s a bit thin, but that didn’t matter for my purpose. If needed, a rug pad could easily be put underneath it. And it’s washable! Doubtful I’ll try that feature as it would mean moving a pool table! 😂 ... show more

    • Not easy to vacuum
This rug is not easy to vacuum. I set my Hoover upright on the highest setting, turned off the beater bar and it still wants to suck up the up the carpet. I bought a non skid pad to put under it, hoping that would prevent it from being sucked up, no luck. Fortunately I have a small robot vacuum that seems to work ok, but I don’t feel they clean well enough. The color is not as bright as the picture, but it is still nice. The rug is very soft, and overall I am happy with it, but I should have returned it due to the vacuuming problem. 🫤 ... show more

This is a really beautiful rug! The washable factor is nice because we have a cat but I haven’t had to wash it yet so I can’t say whether or not it washes well. The only bad thing is that this rug is NOT vacuumable. My husband has to stand on one side of the rug to try and hold it down while I attempt to pull the vacuum along it. It’s just SO thin and light that the vacuum sucks it right up! Even despite that, I’m still happy with my purchase. I like the vintage look of it. ... show more

We were on the fence of color and knew we wanted green/blue colors in our open concept floor plan. Finding something that wasn't overpowering and balanced for a open floor plan and transition of color was a search. Stumbled on this green blue and the blend of light and dark, design blend perfectly and almost feels neutral. The rug came folded and that was a surprise for 9x12, was worried about creases,but the smoothed out perfectly, it's lighter and so much softer than expected. It is a thinner low pile, which is by design to be machine washable. Love that it can be machine washed time to time, since we have a dog.
