I bought this rug last spring with an insurance plan; I was a bit concerned about the negative feedback. I guess I should not have been. I love this rug. I washed it yesterday and could not believe how easy it was to wash and dry (front end washer). After I put the carpet on the line I did see the ends curling up and decided to try an experiment. I folded the carpet over the line evenly and clipped the edges with 5 clothes pins to hold the two side together, and again on the opposite side. I don't know if it did it but I installed it on the pad and no ends curled. I wish they weren't as costly as they are but I'm seriously considering buying another one. I don't think that it would be a good high traffic area rug but that remains to be seen. One drawback I noticed with me is that I kept forgetting to vacuum it, it just didn't show the dirt (not a good idea). Hope this helps others who are undecided. ... show more

The colors are lovely. The standard pad has been tricky to smooth. It either pulls up slightly at corners or slips out of is pocket at the corner. Time will fix it but I wonder what will happen when I wash it and then try to get it back onto the pad smoothly. Otherwise is just as advertised. It costs more than others but its quality is also better. ... show more

I live in a beach house and this is the perfect coastal rug!! My dog actually pooped on it a few weeks after getting so I put it in the washing machine and it came clean!!! So great! Highly recommend!!

I bought three rugs for my kitchen. They are beautiful but they don't stay put on my hardwood floors! As much as they cost, and from the looks of the pad they shouldn't move around so much but they do! I bought one of the low pads and two of the thicker pads. They all move around and need to be moved back into position several times a day! I would return them If I hadn't already gotten rid of the shipping boxes. Also, the corners turn up a bit and that is disappointing as well. I wish I had purchased regular, much less expensive rugs. ... show more
