I bought this ramp (China) and another manufacturer’s ramp (US). For the money this is good value. I think this heavier version is the way to go. It is not comparable to a similar U.S. product with the same specs, but it should work for my application. Pros?- low cost. Reasonably light because it comes as two ramps. Cons?- The plastic carrying handles slide and seem cheap. Only time will tell if they hold up. Not a deal breaker. It is two ramps, so be careful using it since it does not go together as one ramp. The thing that did bother me was when I received the box, which was well sealed and packed, when I opened it dozens of beetles of some sort poured out of the box. My disabled brother's w/c ramp broke after only 2 years and it was difficult for my 88 yr old dad to carry the ramp and unfold it to his minivan. When it was time to buy another ramp, I paid more for this model as it comes in 2 pieces, but ratings say it felt sturdy, my brother's w/c is a heavy duty model and I didn't know how wide it was so the 2 pc could handle the heavy weight and not be heavier as the weight was distributed between two pieces and it could be extended from short to 6 ft which is good as I also couldn't measure my dad's van since we live in different states. All in all, dad is happy and my brother's motorized chair can go in and out of the van without issues. I only hope that it holds up longer than 2 yrs as part of the clips I was told are plastic. These aluminum ramps are perfect for me to use to put my husbands small, lightweight power wheelchair into my van. We have been using these for several months and they seem to be holding up well. Very light weight and easy to use. There is an easy flip clamp on the side of the ramp that hold the ramp in place while extended. I am concerned that may eventually break, but so far it is doing well. The flip clamp allows for adjustment for the length of the ramp. It can be shortened in length if necessary. Has a flip handle on the side to help with maneuvering it in and out of my vehicle. These handles are plastic and eventually may break. So far, they are doing well. Overall, I would highly recommend these for lightweight loads. Comes with a very nice carry bag. I rarely put them in the bag because we are using them so often. ... show more

I bought these to load my mobility scooter into my van. I bought the 7' length. They were delivered promptly, a little earlier than expected which was a big help. They are surprisingly sturdy for such lightweight ramps. Nice carry bag. Most of the time I use them extended to the full 7' length. They easily support my scooter which weighs about 250 lbs. They are lightweight and easy to handle. The only thing that could be improved is the locks. Mine were about a quarter-inch spread when the ramps arrived and would not tighten enough to hold the ramps. The problem was easily solved with a couple of wood shims under the locks.
