As a Christmas gift to myself, I replaced all my old Rubbermaids with these. I previously had the original red Easy Find Lid set, and they were looking stained, bubbled, and worn. These new Premier containers are such a huge step up in quality! I have to say, I love the color of the grey lids! So nice looking. When I initially tried them, the lids were very tight and I thought I’d dislike how they snapped on, but once I used them that first time, it’s been no trouble at all to close the containers. The containers themselves are crystal clear, hard plastic. This is the biggest improvement over the old ones because they don’t stain, and they’re super easy to clean. They wash up perfectly on the top rack of the dishwasher, but do expect some water spotting if you hand wash and air dry. I can’t comment on use in the microwave because we’ve really been trying to limit ourselves to reheating in glass only. So far, the 28 piece set has been plenty for our family of four, as there are a variety of sizes. They stack well in the drawer when not in use. Let's start with the beauty of this set! This is my second set and I may purchase another set and only have these. I love it and everything, even the top, is see through. Leak proof: This set seals airtight and you can actually hear the air out of it container when you push it down and close the handles. Easy to clean: Definitely. You can rinse them or put them in the dishwasher (top shelf) and they come out beautifully clean. Durability: I have had mine for months now and I use them constantly and put them in the dishwasher constantly and they have not warped, scratched, discolored or loss its air tightness. These storage containers are fabulous. Heavy duty and come in a good variety of sizes. I love, love, love them. They nest well and the lids fit together for storage. They stack in the fridge and are see through so you can tell what you have. don't use in the microwave, though. First plastic is not safe in there and these do melt and stain. They are fine in my dishwasher which doesn't have a heated unit in the bottom. well worth the money. I got a second set bacuase I liked them so much. Work well in the freezer, too. Lids stay on and are easy to put on and take off (good for an over 60 person like me) ... show more

Used to store food. Keeps food fresh with the lid closed tight. Easy to clean and store to save space in the cabinets. The containers are microwavable wont melt nor bend. When it falls on the floor hard it cracks easily.

I probably said it all in the headline. I love the way these stack. Lids also stack and can attach to the bottom of the containers for easy storage. Since the small squares are the same size across the top, the lids are interchangeable. Same goes for the larger sizes. It simplifies the search for lids. The containers don't stain with tomato sauce or anything else. They can go from freezer to microwave. The lids are secure and easy to seal. My 80 year old mother struggles with flip lock containers but she can seal these with ease. So if there is a senior with arthritic hands in your home, give these a try. Very good containers. They really are better, as far as not staining from things like red sauce. I do with the set came with fewer small ones and one more big one instead, but for the price it's still a great deal, and I actually have found a few uses for the tiny ones. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the grey lids seem a little stiffer than the other set I have with the red lids. Still seals nicely, but requires a little more muscle. Do yourself a favor if you've got cheapo food storage and get these immediately. I've microwaved spaghetti and curry in these things without staining. I've also had a product that had beet juice in it stored for about a week in one of these, and it still didn't stain. Finally, and this is the reason I'm writing the review now, I just realized I left a tomato-based food in one until it got to science project status and the container still isn't stained. These also don't pit in the microwave, no matter what I heat in them. As for cleaning, they rinse out nicely and have so far done very well in the dishwasher. I was afraid the lids would get brittle but they haven't. The only thing to double check is sometimes a little bit of a film develops on the clear part of the lid after a run through the dishwasher. To prevent it from becoming noticeable all it takes is a quick wipe with a paper towel. As a side note, these look so great that I get compliments on them whenever I bring my lunch to work with me. Save your cheap stuff for when you give food to family and keep this stuff for yourself. Update: I am now on my third set of these. A second set for myself, and the third set was a gift. I still get compliments. It has been over a year since I bought my first set and still everything has stayed in great shape. No staining, cracking, pitting, melting, or warping. Very nice food storage containers! These are very sturdy. The plastic is so clear they look like glass. The lids snap securely into place, I definitely don't worry about anything leaking out of these. I have eaten salad out of these. There are no scratches from the fork. I have put canned beets in them. Beet juice stains everything! Not these containers, though! I have put leftover spaghetti in them and microwaved it in the container later. When I washed it, there was no sauce stain and the container looks brand new. The containers and the lids all fit together nicely for storage when they're not in use. I haven't ran these through a dishwasher as I do not have one, but I suspect they'd be just fine if I did. The only issue I see is after having family over for dinner, I'll not be able to let them make their own leftover take-homes anymore unless I hide these first. These will last for years, as long as I can keep track of them! ... show more
