I bought them because I already have one of the smaller ones. I have had red grapes in the container for 3 weeks and they are still fresh. I bought the set because it's cheaper than buying singly. They are a lifesaver for me because I'm alone and I don't use my fruit as fast as a family would. I was tired of throwing fruit and veggies in the trash. The older version had a removable floor which kept the produce out of the moisture. This model only has bumps so the produce has wet feet!

    • Does keep fruit fresh longer
I purchased the set and gave it a few week's workouts to see if it made a difference. I'm happy to say it does. I have blueberries and grapes in my refrigerator that are over two weeks old and still in good condition. Instead of setting fruit in big bowls on the counter so my family will eat them, I keep most of it in the refrigerator and set out smaller portions. I love these containers, but not real happy with the new version. I really liked the old ones with the extra tray in the bottom to keep the veggies and fruit up out of the moisture. The new bottoms don't do that. Otherwise they do keep food lots longer than just placing them in the drawer.

My lid broke on one of mine containers, I contacted the seller, whom in which advised me that I could not return. So I contacted Rubbermaid directly and was advised that this seller, is not authorized to sell Rubbermaid products. BUYER BEWARE
