I'm very happy with these sneakers. I generally need a 3E or extra wide fitting but was happy to discover that a wide fitting works well enough. And the sole is comfortable enough, even for my fallen arches! It is always hard to find shoes that look sleek when your feet are round. But these come pretty close to it. The shoe is composed of suede and mesh, so I don't imagine that it will be very durable in poor weather. But I bought them in navy blue and really like the look with jeans or chinos. In fact, I would probably buy another pair in black if they had them in my size. At $75, they aren't overpriced but not really cheap for only the occasional wear. But, overall, I think they were well worth the price, to wear in the summer, spring and even the fall before it gets wet. ... show more

This brand has been around forever but I’ve always shied away from purchasing them. I gotta say I’ve changed my view on them. All my new balance are my go to shoes now. These look good and the most comfortable shoes to walk on. It’s like walking on clouds.

Sneaker is comfy. Love the color. The only con is the show strings are not long enough for it to be completely strung up to the last whole and actually tie the sneaker. I like my sneakers using all wholes with my strings.

The good: these shoes look good, which is a hard thing to find in the age of flamboyant neon sneakers. They are lightweight and comfortable, and reasonably priced. The tread is not too aggressive, and doesn't have crevices that trap pebbles or collect mud. The bad: the tread partly separated from the cushioning in the sole on the right shoe. This happened within 2 weeks. The problem did not get worse over the 6 months I wore them, so this seems like a manufacturing defect. The shoe is almost entirely mesh, which I had hoped would keep my feet cool and dry. It did neither, but it didn't make thise issues any worse. What it did do, was allow all kinds of dust and dirt into the shoe. If I walked through grass or dirt, I could feel (and later see) grime between my toes, even though I wear socks. This also made foot odor an issue, and due to the mesh construction, this was evident even while the shoes were on. Not good! I had to regularly disassemble the shoes, hand scrub the insoles and the shoes in the sink, and then launder them with bleach. This would restore freshness, but the dirt and odor would return within a week. I've had many New Balance shoes, and have been happy with all of them... except these. For occasional indoor wear, they would be passable, but you can definitely do better. ... show more
