Purchased the Rubbermaid Commercial Products FG263200GRAY BRUTE Heavy-Duty Round Trash/Garbage Can, 32-Gallon, Gray in 2014. Here we are in August of 2019 and this can still shows no signs of any cracks or tears or ANY significant wear other than the usual scuffs. Have tried to keep it out of the sun but it has sat outside (moderate weather on the central coast of CA) all of this time. Previous "cheaper" (actually much more expensive in the long run) cans would always develop cracks/tears after a year or so. Excellent! I would never buy any other type of can again. ... show more

Trash cans are great. The issue was I ordered 4 gray 32 gal. Got one used gray 32 and 3 blue 44 gal . Stickers in the warehouse are wrong. All have the same sticker and match a 32gal I already had. The blue cans have the wrong sticker.

Cheaply made not "commercial" grade plastic for sure. Paper thin plastic cracks/breaks fast yes really! They've shortened the life time of product like with everything else nowadays a shame. These cans they used to make them durable not anymore. Don't buy. Go old school buy metallic. Shipping was supposed to be 2 day but I waited 4-5 days still not sure why. I use two of these cans for taking our household garbage to the county collections. Both cans have held up to the elements very well with zero signs of wear or fading. The handles are very easy to grab, and the provisions at the bottom of the cans make them easy to empty. The locking lids are easy to remove with one hand, yet lock in place good enough to withstand 50+ mph winds, and have managed to keep wildlife from accessing the cans. The two cans are large enough that with a household of 7 (two adults and 5 kids) we only need to empty them once a week, but are sized perfectly to fit in the back of a Chevy Tahoe for transport(third row folded down). ... show more

Bought this can to have a larger can for yard clippings. Costco's 33 gallon black trash bags fit this can perfectly. The rim holds the bags tight, which is great for packing it full of branches without the bag dropping down into the bottom. The bags fit so tight that they can trap air in the body of the can while filling it, but removing the bag is easy since the can has air channels built in. It's probably worth drilling a hole near the top in one of the channels to let air out while filling the bag. ... show more

How much can you love a large blue cycling bin? How much more can you love it over the standard-size recycling bin? You might be surprised. Our family recycles a lot of material. The city-issued bins were overstuffed and had to be balanced when putting them out. I purchased blue storage bins and labeled them recycling. They did not last long. I wondered if they sold them....yes amazon! I have two. Nothing blows out of them! Additionally, when they are dumped in the trucks, there is less spillage. Use for aging aquarium water. Works great and is extremely sturdy! Bought the dolly (250lb weight limit) and roll 25gal of water around the house over uneven surfaces. Works amazing! The one I received had a bow at the base. Because it holds water I was very concerned and contacted Rubbermaid. After sending pictures they determined it was a factory defect and sent me a brand new one! Rubbermaid is a great company to deal with. I believe it is not a factory defect but improper storage from stacking too many at the warehouse resulting in a bow at the bottom where it starts to crush. I just ordered the 20 gallon and another Dolly here on Amazon. Hopefully it will not have a "factory defect" as well. Will update. ... show more
