I don't know why this isn't sold with the can itself, as they could be attached together in probably the same box. Still, this item is well made, reasonably solid, and I suspect will last for quite some time. I used a marker to label the lid and put clear mailing tape over it to protect it from the elements. I had been using a larger trash can, but rarely came close to filling it, but since the garbage hauler charges less for the smaller can, I purchased this set, for the payback was about 6 months. Initially, I ordered the rolling base, but that wasn't needed, for the can - even filled - is light enough and I can put it on a pull cart if I wish, while a separate roller would be subject to theft while its cost would considerably extend the payback ... show more

It was a bit smaller than I had imagined but true to size measurements. Fits a lot more than it looks like and is very sturdy/durable. It was definitely worth the price! It lasted outside without being knocked over during a storm which was pretty impressive!!

I love this recycle bin. Though smaller than I was expecting, I’m not good at figuring those things out. It’s great quality. The recycle guys ruined my other one. This brand seems tougher. I love this thing I got the small one 20gal. There's a 10gal. I would love to buy just to look at cute little one it's like little kids shoes there so cute Eve though they grow out of the in 2 days . These cans are crazy expensive. And the lids are ala cart but will last a very long time I use the at work this one is mine every time I look at it I think you spent 50 dollars on a garbage can they don't have this size in any store's around me chicago suburb it gets better the lid and can come separately it worked I got it all I keep my winter salt in it l had to throw some away it set up like a rock we'll see if this can pays for itself over time? I've lost a few smaller recycle bins due to being at work when the trucks go by and the wind being especially strong. This larger container (larger than a kitchen trash if the measurements mean nothing to you) doesn't fly away if you don't bring it in immediately. As a household that produces more recycle than garbage that's invaluable. Its sturdy enough to not blow away when left at the curb empty and large enough to fit quite a few amazon boxes plus packaging, as well as other recyclables that households accumulated during the week.
