The best trash can on the market for my purposes. Durable, can take abuse from drops and heavy loads. I use these for my business and they last. I use many of these, no matter the color, the quality is the same. I do like the newer version of the cans better. The handle is easier on your hands and if you use plastic bags, the bags are easier to remove. Weather resistant, they have not cracked in frozen water, cold weather or melt in the heat, although a hot muffler will cause damage. The newer version cans have to be stacked with the grooves aligned, this was not so with the older version. Worth the purchase price, the cost per use is less than a cheaper can, as these cans are durable. ... show more

I only get recycling picked up every two weeks and I try to recycle as much as I can, so having one small can from the trash company didn't cut it. This is perfect!! Well made, lightweight holds a lot more than the little on and allows me to recycle more now.

Use for aging aquarium water. Works great and is extremely sturdy! Bought the dolly (250lb weight limit) and roll 25gal of water around the house over uneven surfaces. Works amazing! The one I received had a bow at the base. Because it holds water I was very concerned and contacted Rubbermaid. After sending pictures they determined it was a factory defect and sent me a brand new one! Rubbermaid is a great company to deal with. I believe it is not a factory defect but improper storage from stacking too many at the warehouse resulting in a bow at the bottom where it starts to crush. I just ordered the 20 gallon and another Dolly here on Amazon. Hopefully it will not have a "factory defect" as well. Will update. ... show more

Perfect for my purpose and THANK YOU for mailing it as is with mailing sticker on the side instead of trying to mail in a box! Arrived without damage. Using for well head cover to keep tree branches from falling on well heads and mowers from bumping into well heads. Of course, nothing will prevent an entire tree trunk or couple hundred pound limb from flattening whatever is below but for the average wind broke limb or rotting limb falling from tree (including walnuts), this Rubbermaid Brute should protect the well head from limbs and aggressive lawn mowers! I used tent stakes to tack it to ground and bricks on top of stakes. ... show more
