First of all it’s a Rubbermaid so I don’t really need to say anymore. But I will. The size is perfect, it’s built to last a lifetime, and the lid fits perfectly (but it’s a little hard to remove). It’s a bit expensive but still worth it if quality means everything to you.

I’m using the container as part of my dust collection system in my shop. As such it needs to be as air tight as possible and it is. The tightness of the lid is to many a problem, but to me it’s a benefit. It’s the perfect size for what is believe is a handle able quantity of sawdust. I liked the mid-size of this garbage bin. I purchased this for my dog waste. I can fit a standard garbage bag in it with no problem. Very sturdy can thick rubber/plastic containers but light to move around. The top fits incredibly tight so there will be no smell leaked out. The only issue is that it is also really hard to remove the lid when you need to take it off, and I do mean it is a struggle. Even my husband who is not a small guy had a hard time getting it off. I’m hoping it gets a bit easier as we use it. I have to say that I would rather it seal in the smell though. ... show more

Useful to contain dirty fish tank water during routined maintenance. I definitely recommend buying a DOLLY to roll this bin around due to the weight after being filled with water. Handles felt thick and sturdy for lifting Won’t know how durable this is until repeated exposure to summertime heat. Scuffs will show up with repeated wear & tear but—does this matter for certain uses? No. Not for my gardening/aquarium needs. What matters for me is that the bin is thick and sturdy enough to NOT crack under pressure or have leaky holes. Containers should contain. For now, great bin for various uses. Love the color options too! Imo expensive for what it is—but worth it because I have wasted money relying on buying crummy bins elsewhere. *Note: The Rubbermaid dolly (pricey ~$40ish but durable) does not fit the 10 gal Brute trash bin—refer to photos attached—the 10 gal will sit still above the dolly at the center base without wobbling everywhere (perfect). I am expecting that the 20 gallon will fit into the groove perfectly. Also, I am waiting for the 20 gal to roll water back and forth around my garden patio for watering as I have limited access to a water system & hose. Trying to see if this method of gardening routined maintenance will work long term. ... show more

I saw several reviews of this can saying it’s hard to remove the lid, since it clips on tightly to keep odors inside. The trick is to grab the lid handle and pull it straight out, not up. Once it unclips, it’s really easy to remove. If you’ll do this, the lid comes off very easily. Overall this can is perfect for collecting my dog’s waste, and keeps the odors inside. ... show more
