I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. These containers are very well made and feel solid and durable. The glass is nice and thick, which makes them great for storing leftovers, meal prep, or vegetables without worrying about cracking or staining. I really like that they’re clear glass, so it’s easy to see what’s inside at a glance. They seal extremely well and are truly leak-proof, which makes them great for storing food in the fridge or transporting meals without mess. The lids fit securely and snap into place with confidence. I really love these Rubbermaid glass containers. They feel high quality, the lids seal tightly, and they don’t leak at all. The different sizes are super useful, and I like that they’re clear so I can easily see what’s inside. Perfect for storing leftovers or meal prep. Definitely worth it!

I got this for my parents.They said it works really well for food storage.They like it is glass and not plastic.They said it is a good size and good quality.Great value for money.Came with great packaging and in good condition.Would buy again and would highly recommend.

They take up less room in my fridge than other containers I’ve used in the past but still hold a lot. I like the variety of sizes. My first impression is that this set is just ok. I like the glass vs plastic containers but worry about them chipping. They are also fairly heavy. Hopefully that is a sign that they won’t chip easily. The lids are supposed to be BPA, BPS free and hold up well after many washes (even in the dishwasher on the top rack). I question how long they will last because they are super thin. The disparity between the thickness of the glass container and the lid is significant. I can understand why so many people have mentioned the lids crack easily. I’m worried that Rubbermaid does not sell just lids at this time and I won’t be able to easily replace a broken lid. They close very securely! It’s almost challenging to get the lids off. I have not cooked anything in these yet. ... show more

Well-packaged and exactly as described. The glass is appropriately heavy and the lids fit well. Easy to carry, warm up, and clean. Excellent alternative to plastics which I am trying to eliminate.

Packed well. Advantages are leak proof and can be used in microwave with the plastic top on as long as the 2 snaps are open so they vent. The lids are BPA free for those that worry about such things. FYI: BPA is going the way of the dinosaurs. It is not banned by the FDA but has greatly reduced useage in food containers. The glass containers for the 2 cup and 3.2 cup are the same length and width with only the depth varying. This means the lids are completely interchangeable with much less clutter in our closet and no guessing if I got the correct lid. If your closet was like ours, that will save about 3 weeks of your life hunting for the proper lid. LOL The product description does not give demensions so here they are: Both sizes are approx. L 7.8" x W 5.2". The 2 cup is 1.8 deep and the 3.2 cup is 2.5" deep. Highly recommend them. ... show more
