I originally got this to put sugar in but recently I’ve been using it as a cookie jar lol. I love how air tight the seal is. Cookies taste like they’re fresh out of the package. The container feels sturdy, thick, and very durable. The lid is extremely secure and helps the container preserve the freshness of whatever is stored. It’s also way bigger than I thought having space for a multitude of things. The rubber material makes it feel a lot more high quality as opposed to plastic. It’s also very easy to clean which is convenient. Perfect for storing sugar like condiments, snacks, candy, or potentially liquids as well. I bought the smaller ones to better organize my supplements, and herbs . However, after being impressed with the quality, and the ease of organization; I opted to buy different sizes to replace my disposable Tupperware. It works great for rice, beans, cereals, snacks, and leftovers. Although as I stated in the title of this review, don’t use this with liquids such as soup, or a broth. This is best used with dry foods due to the design of the seal on the lid. If you can get these on sale (which they often are) I highly recommend these in any size that fits your use cases. Regardless of size, the design and sealing mechanism is all the same. It’s great at keeping out the moisture, humidity, and anything else life can throw at it. PS: These are way better than those OXO Good Grips containers. These are way more secure. While i didn’t recommend these for liquids, you can still use these for liquids without spilling. However, if it sloshes, it can get in the seal and cause light spillage when removing the lid. So, I only didn’t recommend it for liquids due to the possibility of getting the seal wet, hence then creating a mess when removing the lid. But it will still make a perfect seal, and keep all contents inside. ... show more

A few years ago I bought about 20 OXO containers with the pop top. I have had air leaks, the lids have come off due to powder along the rims, and they are not as easy to keep clean. These have a nice quick lock and unlock system. When I take the lids off, I can feel the suction (sometimes making it difficult to get off). They are super easy to clean. They are also a very nice size for getting a 1 cup measuring cup inside and scooping. I plan to replace all my OXOs with these. ... show more

I love these 16 cup containers! They’re a sturdy crystal clear plastic, hold 5 lbs of flour and are air tight. As a matter of fact when I opened them for the very first time I could hear the air pressure release. I’m recovering from a broken arm & saw in a video how to open & close with one hand ~ simply put the lid on and press it down in the middle then put your hand across the top and push down both tabs at the same time and it’s easily sealed tightly. As you can see in the photo, I dumped the entire 5 lbs of flour into the first one I bought. When I got the second one, I just slid the unopened bag inside. Much easier, so that’s the way to go. Plus I can see exactly what kind of flour it is. On the down side, they’re very expensive and according to reviews, the price has gone up 40% from last year. This thing is lovely! It seals great, isn’t too hard to open or close, and fits a large box (just the bag) of cereal in it! My kids like cereal but don’t eat it often, and this is what we use to store it! It always stays fresh way longer!
