We bought these because we needed more storage in our '23 Forester Wilderness when we go camping. We wanted something sturdy, water resistant, and not crazy expensive. These filled in all the check marks. They fit perfectly in our roof top basket with a spare tire, and they are indeed water resistant. You can't dunk them in water and expect them to stay dry, but strapped to roof in a down pour while driving 70mph.... They didn't leak. I would buy them again 100%. ... show more

I have an older (10 years) tote that doesn't have the wheels and is smaller than the wheeled one. I thought that the wheeled one would be the same size (I didn't measure before ordering it.) I appreciate having the extra capacity. Well built and sturdy. Makes a good bench to sit on. I can't compliment these containers enough. I put mine outside year-round, beside a pool (chemicals) and they have held up for 3+ years now. I recently bought more to store firewood, to prevent it from getting wet. These are rainproof and snowproof. One can lock the container with a padlock; however, I don't need to do this but if you camp, it might be useful for you. These are durable, thick, and tough. I do not pick up and drop mine on the ground much. I place it in one place and just throw a bunch of stuff into it and it works great. There are different sizes. As for vertical stacking, I don't think that would work well since the tops are not conducive to keeping the container on top from shifting if jostled and will fall. The good thing, it doesn't collect water on top of the container (sitting as puddle), so if you have a pet (e.g., dog) who might lap up the water after a rain, this works to prevent that. Overall, a fantastic product. No regrets. Do I wish they were a bit more affordable, yes, but if you get a great product, then the value is there. You'll be able to use these for years. The only issue is the handle at the wheels was cut/installed a hair further out, so it doesn't catch the locking system, it doesn't interfere with rolling operations, but it does interfere a bit if I stand it on its end. The majority of time this will be loaded with my camping/hurricane preparedness gear, and will be laying down on the side that is intended to be down. So that's why it still manages 5 stars right now. As mentioned, using it for my camping and emergency preparedness gear, I'm starting to outgrow a normal plastic bucket, and I decided to go with something wheeled. Unless something goes wrong with it later, so far this ideally fits my needs. ... show more

I use this to store and transport several sets of lightweight dumbbells (probably about 80+ pounds worth). Everything about it seems very durable. Would be nice if the handle originated from the bottom instead of the middle, just to give more leverage for rolling it.
