This is a great buy but only when the price is right. One day it’s $95. The next it’s $124. Then $112. Then $99 and so forth. Makes no sense. So keep an eye out as it can drop to a price where it’s worth buying. Very study though and I like that I can put a lock on it.

I’ve used the Rubbermaid Action Packers for camping and storage for 30 years. I load them up with all manner of camping equipment and supplies and toss them in the bed of my truck - stack stuff on top of them, slide them around, drag them through the dirt, and I have even used them as a chair. I have never had one break or crack. Just wipe them out or hose them off and they are good to go again and again. The locking handles are easy to open/close and have a good positive click feel when locking. They are extremely durable and fairly waterproof (although they do not have a rubber seal). They will keep your contents dry in the pouring rain, but you can’t submerge them. They will float upright if loaded heavy in the bottom, but if water reaches the lid, they will take on water, so don’t drop them in the lake. There are cheaper alternatives out there and I have tried a few over the years, but I have always come back to these containers as my go to solution. Known brand from a well respected Mfg… Great quality and durability… Reasonably water resistant (rain/snow)… Fair price… Highly recommend! ... show more

Definitely feels really strong, seems to have plenty of room, BUT, the handles, or the pack of are horrendous! I’m going to add my own rope or some sort of strap. You can barely get a grip on them. Big fail in that dept and I will jot buy another one. I’ll shop around
