  • These are great but parts missing, Read through These are great but parts missing, Read through
Size: 1-4 Panels
Update 11/26/22: today I received a package with the missing parts from the seller. Exactly the most important parts that were missing arrived complete. I cut the zip ties and installed the panel clamps. The panels are now very well secured. Thanks to the great cooperation with the seller, these panels mounts are complete, and I now find them to be a 5 star product. They really are great panel mounts, a terrific value for the price and I highly recommend them. Original review: I bought three of these, and I find them to be great except for one thing, they have hardware missing. In everyone of the three boxes there was hardware missing. The missing bolts, washers and channel nuts are easily available at my local hardware store, and I bought enough to finish the assembly which was fairly easy. However, the end and mid panel clamps are not so easy to get, and are pretty unique to these mounts. I did reach out to the seller, and they said that they are sending the clamps, but they are coming from overseas (probably China) and it could take a long while. We are creeping into winter here and I cannot wait. I went ahead and used other bolts where I could, and used zip ties where they were missing, I just used white heavy duty zip ties to hold the panels in place until spring next year. One box had the whole bag of end and mid clamps missing. The others were missing the stainless steel clamp bolts and channel nuts. I used hex head bolts and my own channel nuts temporarily. I will be honest, these mounts are not bad, but beware that parts and hardware may be missing. If it is only the bolts and nuts, just buy them, they are inexpensive and easy to get. If you buy everything to build these from channel struts and hardware, they will cost much more. That is what makes these worth buying. These are stabile, sturdy and very versatile. As you can see I bolted them to deck blocks which allows me to move them if I need to. Yet they are heavy enough to keep them secure to the ground. These mounts can easily hold 5 of my 100 watt panels each, but I had to configure for 12 panels. Hence 3 mounts. I just cut off the ends to butt them up against each other. I can recommend these mounts for their versatility and great value. You can easily mount panels up to 250 watts, maybe more. Just be prepared to deal with missing hardware. If you get the mounts complete, you are getting a great deal. I give them 3 stars because of the missing hardware and the pain in the behind for the missing hardware. ... show more

  • Quality mounting system Quality mounting system
Size: 5+ Panels
Even though this is a "Ground Mount" system I was able to build a wooden structure and mount it on a flat roof. This is a strong well thought out mounting rack. I was able to fit 4 JJN 400watt bi-facial panels on it with room for one more panel in the future. Easy to setup and easy to secure panels to it. ... show more

  • Does NOT fit 4x 200W panels without modifications; tilt not adjustable after install.
Size: 1-4 Panels
I understand that there are two versions of this product, an old one and a new updated version. I have the new updated version. It still has problems. I've tried both Renogy and HQST brand 200 watt panels on this mounting system and the rails are about 6 inches too short to fit four panels of either brand. Also, these units cannot be free standing. They have to be bolted to something solid or the legs will just collapse because there is only a single bolt for the elbow pieces making them function like hinges that swing both directions. There is no amount of tightening that will make them hold the weight of 3 panels on the system (because it's 6 inches too short to hold the four as advertised). This wouldn't be a huge issue because it should be bolted to something anyway for winds but it also means that you can't change the tilt angle with the seasons unless you unbolt the mounts from the concrete slab or whatever it's anchored to and move the legs to the new location necessary to change the tilt and rebolt them. Even if you wanted to do this, you'd have to remove ALL the panels first, unbolt and partially disassemble the mounting racks to move them to the new inclination, put everything back together, drill new holes and install new anchors because with a new angle the legs are going to be in different locations, rebolt it to the ground, and then reinstall your panels. It would take hours. A lot of people install their panels on the ground instead of their roof so they can easily change the angle of the panels for winter / summer sun, but that's just not practical with this setup because it takes almost an entire disassembly and reassembly, it's simply not designed to change the tilt angle once it's assembled. I think advertising them as "adjustable" is a stretch, for all intents and purposes they are only "adjustable" for the initial installation. The description said the angle goes as low as 30 degrees, it actually goes to 28.5 if this matters to anybody. 20 degrees is actually better for my latitude so 28.5 is better. I contacted Eco-Worthy and asked if they have any rail extensions or some other solution so I don't have to send all four back, they responded with a couple of helpful options to make it work. I work with galvanized material a lot and the galvanization on these steel components looks weak to me. It looks like a thin spray of a zinc based paint. Only time will tell what the rust resistance really is. We get a lot of rain here so I would find out pretty quick. Lastly, the included instructions aren't entirely accurate. The book lists steps that aren't required because some of the pieces that show as not being assembled actually are. If you're good at reading ahead and visualizing the assembly this is actually a good thing, because it saves some aggravating steps, but if you're the type that needs to follow the exact recipe of instructions in exactly the order described you may struggle a bit. To summarize: this mounting system does not hold four 200 watt panels without modification, it is not adjustable after installation, the instructions aren't exactly correct, and the galvanization looks weak. However, this is priced as a budget item and it lives up to that expectation, and is a solid performer for this price range. Had it cost more my expectations would have been higher. ... show more

  • Required some improvising but the price was right
Size: 1-4 Panels
This rack isn't top quality but it does the job, and cheaply. Assembly was a bit challenging without a second pair of hands to help. I was surprised that the legs weren't firmly fixed to the rest of the rack but instead pivot in their brackets. This makes the rack very rickety until you can affix the feet to something. Once installed, though, it did its job well. ... show more

  • Amazing! I improvised though Amazing! I improvised though
Size: 1-4 Panels
So I knew I didn't want the tilting mechanism part of this set up. I wanted to find a way to make it work without it. And I did! Didn't need to buy anything or cut any new holes to make it work. I put the bar onto the legs and used a thick bolt (had extra since I didn't use the tilting part) to hold the strut channel in place. This thing is solid! Not hard to install but I suggest looking up the tutorial video for a quicker install. Not sure why the strut channel sticks out so I'm just gonna cut it off! Worth the money instead of buying my own strut channel and making my own set up. Would have to measure, cut, risk messing up, and constantly going back to the store. 10/10 great product ... show more

  • Definitely built to a price point. Definitely built to a price point.
Size: 1-4 Panels
This is absolutely an adequate product for a small array in a low wind area. This was engineered to be cost effective and ship easily. It is not a quality item. The metal is thin, the fasteners are cheap and for me has required some reinforcement to survive a windstorm. But I spent $100 on two 10' pieces of unistrut and $15 for better fasteners and clamps. I used the original horizontal bars as diagonal bracing. I think this is about the cheapest option out there for a ground mount but you get what you pay for and it did not hold up well for me in high winds. It is probably adequate for many situations. ... show more

  • Great value, take advantage of the modular construction to make custom size arrays
Size: 1-4 Panels
Eco-Worthy makes these for 1-4 (118") and 5-10 panels (236"). The designs are the same and units are modular, with the galvanized steel angle sections 100cm each along with splice sections and associated hardware - value is high considering all the parts included - it would cost a good bit more to buy all the hardware a la carte, and some of it may be hard to find. But I wanted a stand in between the two sizes offered - specifically a little larger than the smaller 10' stand for 5x Callsun 200w bifacial panels, which are 30.3" each meaning it could only accommodate three panels as sold. So, I bought (4) of these ECO-WORTHY stands, two on Amazon during the $118 sale, and another two on Ebay where they are cheaper at $95 with a 20% coupon), so $426 for all, plus tax. Plan is two make two stands from the four, each one with 100cm more length, along with installation of two extra verticals with their front and rear leg supports at the edges. This will accommodate a 2P5S arrangement = 2000w @ 123.74v operating @ 16.86 amps, VOC for 5S = 136.5v. Total space needed 3938mm with custom stand accommodating 4000mm instead of the 3000mm as sold. I'm currently using an Oupes Mega 2 w/ (2) B2 batteries, each unit has 140v @ 15 amps MPPT, with 150v maximum, so the system can accept up to 6300 watts per hour (2100 watts per unit). I should be able to get 1856 watts with this configuration, excluding minor voltage drop from the 100' extension cable. I will probably upgrade to a Pecron F5000LFP later this year and may add another couple 2P5S arrays. Anyway mainly posting this review so others realize these stands offer great value - particularly at the Ebay price of $95 w/ coupon - and if you mechanically inclined you do not need to limit yourself to the offered 10' or 20' width, if willing to buy extra stands to harvest parts. Also worth mentioning the Callsun 200w panels are fantastic, can buy them directly from their website for the best price (same price as amazon with free shipping, but they do not collect sales tax). ... show more

  • Low Quality Kit that barely gets the job done and leaves you wanting more Low Quality Kit that barely gets the job done and leaves you wanting more
Size: 1-4 Panels
I went ahead with my installation of this kit, but had to modify many things. The reason why I spent the extra money for this kit rather than doing it myself was to save time, but you get what you pay for. I had multiple issues with this product: -While some of this kit is heavy duty, some if it is fairly thin material. Tolerances are really poor so even when assembled the upright legs will rattle around in the feet and angled brackets. I tried tightening thick wall vs thin wall struts together to reduce some of this slop, but the thinner pieces just bend and the whole structure never really tightens up like I would expect a thought-out kit to do. Time will tell if the winds rattle this assembly around audibly where this is unacceptable. -I have standard HQST 100W panels, but the mounting brackets with this kit are not designed for my 1.4" thick panels. The brackets on the ends of channels (for only mounting 1 panel edge) look like they are more appropriate for 1.75+ thick panels. I had to cut off parts of these brackets so that when tightened they would not stab into the delicate poly portion of the panel, rather than lock down the edge frame of the panel as they are designed. (pictures attached) -3 out of the 4 mounting feet were fine, 1 was welded together upside down. This caused the holes in the upright channel leg to not line up. I was forced to redrill holes on the upright in order for this incorrectly welded foot to work. -while 4 panels do fit on this kit, they cannot be mounted symmetrically on the rails with the included hardware unless your panels are around 2 inches thick at the frame. I was forced to cut off 2 of the bolts since my panels were only1.4" thick. I could have mounted them off-center by about 6 inches, but I wanted my panels to be centered in the tracks (call me crazy). see pics All in all, I got the kit to work, but it took an additional few hours to MAKE it work, when I really just wanted something bolt together. Poor craftmanship, I would just piece together my own kit from Home Depot parts if I did it again. ... show more
