Looks amazing in my hallway! Sturdy and the Edison bulbs that came with it are an amazing bonus. It was a little difficult to screw in both screws though.

This was really easy to install. Everything you need is in the box. I'm not an professional electrician, so I don't know the codes, but I have been wiring for a lot of years with no issues. Wiring aside, the mounting bracket is pretty universal with new or existing ceiling electrical boxes. I love the rustic look of this fixture, but wish it would have been bigger. We had a standard round 13" flush mount light in the room before and this light is only about 11" square, so it's not enough to cover up the inevitable mark left on the ceiling from when the old light was removed. Easily fixed, but should be noted. A coupe things you can't tell from the pictures in the product description, the wooden frame and the metal x's cast really bad shadows in the room. Luckily, you can actually bent the bulb sockets up and down to help find a happy balance and minimize that effect. The LED Edison style bulbs that are included I think are 75w equivalents. that was a bit too dim for our kitchen, so we purchased 100W equivalent LED Edison style warm light bulbs, which only consume 8W each, so you are fine on the 60W max rating on the sockets. Otherwise, this is a great light. Love the way it looks. We are likely going to get enough to put them in the rest of the house. ... show more

-First Thoughts- The light came with bulbs, instructions, and was in perfect condition. The light has a modern rustic appearance and complements the room well. For the price, I feel this light fixture is a great value, and feel it would have cost twice as much if purchased from a popular home improvement store. -Installation and Use- The installation process was straightforward, though I did not use the included wire caps. I chose to instead use wire lever nuts, as I feel they are easier to work with and less likely to come lose when pushing the excess wire back up into the ceiling (personal preference). We have had this light up for about a month now, and there have been no issues with the light functionality. -Brightness- This is only a two bulb fixture, so I would not personally install this in an area much larger than a bedroom, as I feel it would not suffice. Though, if you are only looking to add a bit of ambiance lighting to a larger already well-lit room, this is a great choice. You could even add a dimmer switch or smart bulbs to control the ambiance of the room in that case. -Appearance- The light looks amazing and adds class to the overall feel of the room compared to the old light that was previously in its place.
