This is a nice carrier and will work for a few of my cats, I have 12, but it will definitely not work for my big guys. I would say "works for cats of any size" is a bit of false advertising. The porthole is a cute feature. The zipper sticks a bit right out of the box. All in all it is a nice carrier though.

I really do like this carrier, it's very nice. My smaller cat who is 7.2lbs fits in this carrier beautifully, though for travel I think it requires a pad for additional comfort which I am fine providing. It has both a bubble cover and a breathable cover, you can use either one. The strap is long and this does seem a well made carrier, but the zipper can occasionally stick... I have two cats and the smaller cat is 7 pounds and she fits wonderfully in this case, but I don't think I'd even try to put my larger cat in this - it just seems too small to even try. The dimensions of this carrier are correctly listed, but the carrier itself is more of an A-frame shape so it doesn't seem roomy to me, not roomy enough for a large cat to move around some in. If you don't want the room you could technically stuff a large cat in this, but I just kinda like more space for my animals - though I really only take them to the vet and to visit extended family in the car. I don't really know anything about airline requirements - I just think a carrier designed for air travel in mind is handy because you just never know what lies around the corner of life, even if air travel isn't in your usual repertoire. All in all, I give this 4 stars, it's a lovely little carrier that's quite sturdy.

So, I used this carrier the last time I took Charlie, a kitten, to the vet. He weighed in at about 4 lbs for the visit. The carrier was sized fairly comfortable for him. That said, my 18lb Goose would've had some definite issues just fitting inside, much less turning around. I think it would work for larger pets if it wasn't shaped similar to an A-frame. As it is, I'd say a 6lb cat would be comfortable, an 8 lb would probably be okay if not thrilled with the accommodations, but anything over 8lbs would be uncomfortable in the carrier. That said, the window is nice (I used the plastic mesh opening for increasing airflow), and the ability to carry it by a handle or have it hang on your shoulder like a purse is very nice. I also really like the pocket on the side (perfect size for a phone or your keys). I purchased this for our kitten, so I'm not upset with the size. I imagine he'll not grow up to be the same size as our gentle giant so it will probably get years of use.

I got this carrier in order to hold chinchillas on the way to the vet instead of cats after seeing that other reviews had mentioned this being small for cats. I definitely agree that this carrier would only fit a small cat at best, and is probably better suited for other smaller animals. Out of the box, this carrier has a little plastic grill in the place where the clear dome would go. To replace the grill with the dome, I had to twist the outside ring and pull the grill and the ring off (kind of like a mason jar). Besides that, the carrier comes completely assembled. There is a zipper that runs the full length of the carrier that would make it really easy to clean. Overall the materials seem good enough for travel, but aren't anything that would wow you. I also really appreciated the little pocket on the outside of the carrier that you could use to store treats and other pet supplies. Overall I would say if you have a small cat or have a pet smaller than a normal size cat, this carrier would work really well. I might look for something a bit larger if you have a big cat though.

This cat carrier is so cute! Seeing my cat peek her head out into the little bubble window thing is adorable. The bottom isn't as sturdy as I'd hoped- it's essentially just thick fabric- so I ended up putting the hard plastic base I had from my other cat carrier into it. That way my cat can stand without feeling wobbly. Also, I wish the zipper went the opposite way (up and across the top instead of down and along the bottom) that way I could open it at the top a bit to pet her easily, without worrying as much that she'll get out. Only having side access means I have to reach in awkwardly and hope she doesn't run out. Not a deal breaker, but it would've been nice. All in all though, I like it and would get it again.

It's a fairly straight forward zippered cat carrier. It seems well made and is collapsible for compact storage. It's best suited for a smaller cat. We have a 3-month-old kitten. He did fine in it. He looked out the ends and the circular mesh window. I didn't and probably won't install the included circular vented window. The zippers are a royal pain. I haven't tried using Parafin wax on them yet. However, the zippers did get slightly better after some use.

My cat absolutely adores this cat carrier. I had to do some traveling for Thanksgiving break, and my adorable cat pumpkin, who is about 7 pounds and not super large, really enjoyed traveling in this carrier. I have a handful of cat carriers, and for one reason or another she’s not super fond of them either it’s too uncomfortable, or it’s too Poorly built and it makes her feel claustrophobic, but this one has an extra pouch for me to keep her treats, and on the outside or a water bottle and has lots of room for her to see, either through a bubble, or a grate, which are interchangeable.
