This is just really well made. I wasn't sure how the quality was going to feel given it's a kid's bike regardless the cost but yeah. It feels like the money is right where it should be cost wise. The steel feels substantial and the welds on her bike are all clean. This comes just as they say practically built already in the box. Freeing the bike from the packaging took about as long as assembly. I had her up and testing sizing within a few minutes and starting to ride minutes later. Unboxing to riding was less than 15 minutes. Visually the bike looks snazzy. It comes with front and rear reflectors, a bell, and a canteen. I do suggest with the canteen restrict it just to water. The shape is going to make actually cleaning it difficult but it's a fun addition that also adds a contrasting pop of color to the bike. Speaking of color the blue of the bike is really rich and consistent throughout the frame. I liked this bike because my kiddo is right at the starting range of sizes to use it so it's perfect for her to grow into as she develops more skills riding. With that in mind that's the great part of this is converting it from balance to pedal by pressing a button on each side. I tried swapping out the pedals and it took no time at all. You could carry them with you when you go out to ride so you're ready the moment the kid feels confident about transitioning to pedaling. My kid is a few months from turning 7 and 47" tall. We have the seat at the lowest point and this is working for her. Her feet can sit flat on the ground though its easier to walk with both feet than one then the other. Still even in our uneven ground out here she was able to pick up on riding it quickly. This will be a lot easier when we can take the bike into town to the local parks for smooth flat ground. She's excited, think the bike looks amazing, and wants to get out there and learn. That makes me excited too. ... show more

Review for: Royalbaby EZ Kids Bike, 2-in-1 Balance & Pedal Bicycle I am familiar with the quality of the Royalbaby bikes - I ordered the yellow, 18" in Nov 2022 for our 6 year old grand daughter and now I have the blue 16" for our 5 year old granddaughter You may not have heard of this brand name before, but in my opinion, both bikes are very high quality, well thought out, looks good and works. (Much better than a couple of 'name brand' bikes I have bought recently) Very easy/simple to put together and they include the tools that you need. "Training Wheel" are old school in my opinion, they don't really teach a kid how to balance on the bike. That was the reason why I bought the 18" in 2022. I had purchased a traditional kids bike with training wheel, and the 6 year old could get around on it just fine, but the minute I raised the wheels up off the ground, so she would actually have to balance = problems. With the balance bike, she was up and riding with pedals within 2-days, which is really a neat feature about these Royalbaby bikes. The pedals are easily removed so they don't get in the way in 'balance bike' mode. Then when they are ready, you can put the pedals back on and they can progress to actually riding a bicycle. Another thing about these bikes are the pedals are 'free wheeling' which means when the kids are stopped and are getting ready to go, they can bring the pedal around so it is in the proper position to start pedaling. Cannot recommend this highly enough. First, this bike is high quality. You can feel the quality in the parts. It is sturdy and well built. Very easy to put together. I think it took my husband 10 minutes to put together. I really appreciate the ease and design of this bike. It comes with foot pegs for your kids to learn to balance on the bike. They easily snap into place and are very sturdy. Within a few minutes and with NO TOOLS you can snap those off and put on the pedals! This is HUGE! Best design ever. Being able to swap those out so quickly and without finding strange wrenches is so helpful. The only thing that does not make sense is the "water bottle". It looks cool but I cannot see us really using it as a water bottle. It would be impossible to clean. It is a little hard to get on and off. I would not buy this bike for that piece. That said it doesn't matter and I would buy this bike 10x over. Just leave it on for looks or toss it. My son is a big 4 year old. He has been riding a balance bike for a year or so. He jumped on this with the foot pegs and glided right along. My 9 year old son was able to quickly and easily take those off and switch them out for the pedals. My 4 year old was off and riding within minutes. GREAT design. We highly recommend this bike. It is nice and sturdy, has a nice look, and it is a great design. ... show more
