This is a really nice coat! It's heavy and warm. I love the soft lining on the inside of the coat as well as the pockets. I like that the fur lining on the hood can be removed, as the hood is rather big with the fur. The coat is long enough that it partly covers my thighs, and it's roomy enough to wear layers underneath. The zipper can be challenging to zip up, but if you do it slowly, it works fine. I can’t wait for it to get cold to try this out! It is so warm, and well made. The waist cinches up with the draw up clasps, that’s a cool feature. So many pockets and a hidden one inside. You can remove the hoodie too. Note- I measured myself and followed the chart for fitting instructions. Perfect fit! I am a normal size 8/10 and I ordered a size 12. I’m so glad I did. I ordered this coat because it's actually going to feel like winter this year in my state, and also because it was on sale. I decided on the green, and I'm pretty happy with my choice. There are only a couple issues with the coat. The first thing I noticed is that the green isn't as dark as in the picture. It's more of a forrest green, as opposed to a really dark green. It's still pretty, though not what I originally wanted. The other problem is a bigger issue. The zipper sticks, and sometimes pretty badly. It's hard for me to get it to go up some days, which is extremely frustrating. The zippers on the pockets don't stick, just the one on the front, but that's the main one. I will say that the hood is very large, and while I like that, I know some people don't. What I do like is that the lining is super soft and the coat is very warm. I love that the (numerous!) pockets are lined with fleece, too! I would recommend this coat, and I'm happy I got it. ... show more

Nice and warm. I bought a 20 and it fits good but i do feel it seems a tad tight in the shoulders. To move up a size, the overall fit will be to large. I am keeping it i do like it very much.

This coat/jacket is exactly what I was looking for; windproof, warm enough for winter in the Northeast, lined in soft, warm furry fabric and hooded. The trim on the hood zips on and off. The zipper is Excellent, strong and well made. What a relief! Love the knit cuffs inside the sleeves and the ties at the waist which you can snug up or leave loose. Now for sizing: Amazon recommended an 18. However, I chose a size 22. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 192 lbs. I am broad through the shoulders and back, have basically an apple shape. I absolutely hate snug clothes and struggling in and out of jackets. I based my choice of size partly on their sizing chart and partly on my past experience with recommended sizes. I probably could have worn a size 20, but an 18 wouldn't have worked. Now I have room for a sweater underneath, although I doubt I'll ever need it with the warmth of this coat. Also, lengthwise, it just about hits me at the knee. The label says no dry cleaning, only machine wash in cold. ... show more

Literally the best coat I've ever owned! It is absolutely perfect in every way. I live in Kansas and this winter has been miserable. I hate heavy coats but finally broke down and found this one and thought for the price I might as well, and I am not disappointed!! It is perfection!! I'm 5'3" around 215lbs, I bought the size 22 and it fits perfectly! It's so soft on the inside, warm but not too hot. And ladies...IT HAS SO MANY POCKETS!!!!!! Seriously, buy it.
