I've had this coat for a year now, and I still love it. One of my best Amazon purchases. · High quality, cute · Durable · Nice pockets · Perfect for 20-50 (F) degrees Stats: 5'9", ~150 lbs., measurements 40-29-40, dress size 6/8. I bought this in a size 8, and it fits as expected. I could have probably sized down and still fit, but I wanted the room for layers and the range of motion for my arms. It is perfect and I don't feel restricted at all. This coat looks and feels good in terms of quality and style. The green is a lovely neutral forest color. The hardware is still shiny and smooth a year later. It looks cute and the waist-cinch gives a nice shape. The hood is large and cozy. It does hang over my eyes quite a bit, but I wear glasses so that actually really helps keep rain off my face. Just be aware that your peripheral vision will be a little limited. It is indeed water-resitant, and even puncture-resistant. My cat likes to ride on my shoulders pretty much daily, but even though she uses her claws, it doesn't show any holes, snags, or damage. The hand pockets are large enough for my phone, wallet, keys, and pretty much anything I want to carry when I don't want to bring a purse. I also love that the pockets are fleece and keep my hands warm, even with all that other stuff in them. There are two narrow pockets on the chest that can hold pens/lip balm, or one glove each if the gloves aren't too thick. This weight has been ideal for my PNW winters, which are generally 20-50 (F) degrees, rainy, and very rarely icy/snowy. The sherpa lining goes across the shoulders in the back and down either side of the zipper in the front. It's always been warm enough; sometimes I don't even layer up if I know I will be going into a store because otherwise it can get a little too warm. A solid enough purchase that I remembered to come back and tell you guys a year later.

Update as 01/27/25 THIS COAT IS ALSO WATER RESISTANT. Just went to Niagara Falls, it’s was pouring raining and I remained cozy and warm. BEST COAT EVER! It’s extremely hard to find a good coat as a plus size, and when we decided to move to western NY I was in desperate need of a new coat, mine old one was crying for help. I am 5’7” with 320 lbs, and this coat fitted me just right on size 26. They don’t have a bigger size or I would have gone bigger just for extra comfort. I can definitely wear a sweater underneath, it has enough space. The faux fur inside is extremely soft and cozy! My favorite part is the hood that falls perfectly around your face. All the zippers and buttons are METAL I wasn’t expecting this quality for the price. I wish more colors were available on my size but the black fabric is beautiful and looks very resistant as well. If you are just like me and like to ditch your purse to run errands during winter, this coat got your back with lots of pockets! The armpits are a little snug but I have wide arms so it’s a problem I have with almost every coat I bought, just sharing in case you have the same problem. Doesn’t bother me but it might really bother you. Lenght is very flattering and waist adjustment helps me feel like a more proportional cozy potato, differently than other coats that makes me feel like I am wearing a puffy potato sack. Very warm and so far resistant fabric, don’t know about being water repellent yet, will come back here as I wear it to update my review.

This jacket is very nice. The outside appearance is nice and clean. The inside lining is super soft, as well as inside the pockets. There are 6 outer pockets - 2 with zippers and 4 with snaps. The zippers seem durable and function well. I like that it has a two-way zipper. The length is great, as it comes mid-thigh for added warmth. I wore the jacket in 30 degree temps for a short period of time and it was warm with only a thin sweatshirt underneath. The hood has soft lining which gives added warmth, but I don't care for the fur. The appearance of the fur isn't great and, when you pull the hood tight, the fur gets in your face. Thankfully, it's removable so I just took it off. The delivery of this item was very poor. The jacket came in a clear plastic zippered pouch, but it was not put inside any other type of shipping packaging. The label was just put on the clear pouch and it was mail. The pouch was 1/3 of the way unzipped when I received it! Thankfully the coat was not damaged. They need to either need to use shipping tape to seal the item or put it in a shipping package.

This kept me warm in 30 degree temps and was water resistant in the snow! I love the soft pockets that are aren’t at an awkward angle to put your hands in like some coats. I also like that the fur on the hood is removable, the zipper is a little annoying but not a deal breaker.
