This is a great grill. Heats up very fast with even heat distribution. They are serious when they say you should have a buddy help you assemble it. I am a mechanic and it took me a little over 2 hours to assemble by myself and it is heavy. One tip, the hose, side burner control and ignitor are zip tied underneath the bottom of the main cooking housing (Below the burners, under the controls). Absolutely fabulous grill. Assembly took me, a girl who's moderately handy, about 4.5 hrs to finish. It ignites beautifully. Sturdy yet still stylish. Burner on side works great along with the rest. Very impressive looking grill. The rotisserie feature is fantastic too. My only issue is that the pieces didn't come numbered on the packages to indicate which were what. You have to eye it to figure out which piece is what. Besides that, assemble was lengthy but still pretty easy. Very Very satisfied with birthday present for my Dad. I love it it works great. Everybody complained about how hard it was to assemble and all the damage they had when it arrived and missing parts. Well let me tell you it was really easy to assemble all the parts were there and as far as damage goes when I saw the box it came in I was thinking here we go I’m going to have to send it back because it’s damaged so bad but when I took everything out if the box I had 1 little dent which I straightened out in 2 mins. So now I’m thinking those horror stories everyone tells is BS the truth is easy to assemble all parts were there and very little damage. I love my new grill ... show more

We got to the part where the ignition switch is to be installed; we could not find it. We had to take it apart! The parts were under the knobs. NOT stated int the instructions! Rating 3 stars because it seems heavy and sturdy but it has weak pieces to consider. Writing the review after 6 months of at least bi-mothly usage. I put the chicken with neck photo to so you can laugh with me. Pros 1.- Good Looking, color is beautiful and seems big enough. 2.- Rotisserie and back-burner is a great add-on for a $500 grill 3.- easy to clean / yes I clean it once it is cold after each use. 4.- Crates are heavy and looks perfect after 6 months. 5.- Searing burner works as expected, very good for the price. Cons 1.- Electric starter doesn't work as expected.. I usually require external help 2.- Although the lid is well balanced and easy to move it has two small pieces supporting the piece when it is opened. Those broke the first month of use. It still works but now is metal/metal resting there. 3.- I received mine with a bend on the front frame I was able to manage and try to fix, but it makes one door to not close evenly. Although the packaging was very good from my perspective. 4.- Took me about 3 hours to build and I consider myself a handyman. 5.- Inside the body the paint started to peel already (next to sear burner) and the bottom tray (grease tray) is already getting rusty. I didn't expect that. 6.- from the heat perspective, it is not even. It is hotter at the middle next to you at the middle burner, and the coldest area would be at the bottom of the grill. I learned to play with this but I'd desired a better heat distribution. Its on the budget, I was expecting more of the BBQ based on the reviews and the product description. I love this grill! Heat is even, sears very well, the back burner for the rotisserie is excellent. It was easy to assemble albeit a long process. But... the rotisserie shaft bends very easily! It is impossible to roast 2 chickens as it bends the shaft down to the grill grates. Also, if you manually support the shaft, there is not enough clearance (birds were trussed).
