Loved this product! It was easy to install, you can apply it through the sticky backing or drill it in. It has an on off switch for when you're frequently using the same cupboard. I also love that it keeps the door fully closed if installed right so no small fingers can get wedged in between when little ones pull on drawers. Overall would buy again

Great product, even better customer service!

We purchased this product about a year ago when our first child started crawling. I found these locks easy to install (the starter tape is a stroke of genius). I did follow the directions carefully and went slowly when installing the first one, but picked up speed once I got the hang of it and had 12 locks installed in under an hour. I love that they don't mess with the outer appearance of our cabinets and I didn't need any tools to install them- just a pencil. The adhesion and locks are strong (our toddler likes to pull HARD on the cabinets to try to get them opened, and they won't budge), but open really easily with the key. The ring key makes it possible to open the cabinet with one hand if you install the lock near the drawer/cabinet pull as recommended. My parents bought some for their house and really appreciate that they can turn the lock function "off" when grandkids are not present, which is as easy as the flip of a switch. We have been so satisfied with these locks that we recently ordered a few more to attach to the higher cabinets that our child can now reach! Keep in mind that they recently changed the polarity of the magnets on the ring keys (to be able to work with other brands), so if you're like me and have some of the older locks, the new keys will not work and vice versa. This is where I think their customer service is top-notch. When I received the package of the new locks, I noticed a sticker on the box indicating the polarity change as well as a customer service number for Roving Cove. After a nice conversation with Mark, he offered to send me a replacement package of locks with my choice of the old polarity to coordinate with my older locks, or the new polarity to help replace the older locks. As a consolation, I can keep the newer set of locks I already received! Now I have a matching set of older-style locks on the way and a nice set of new locks as a gift. In all, I highly recommend these locks to anyone needing a foolproof way to deter access to cabinets or drawers!

This is the one, trust me!!
Okay, if you have a houdini child who loves solving locks, this is the one for you because it eliminates anything for them to figure out. Our son easily figured out other locks. So glad he's smart but not great for avoiding poisonous solutions in the kitchen. These are the BEST locks- easy to install, comes off without damaging our cabinets, aesthetically pleasing because the lock is hidden, LOVE that the magnet key has a hook for your fingers (it comes with two keys.) The magnet is strong, it WORKS!!! ANDDDD... it has an on and off switch for when baby is asleep or not at home so you can leave the cabinets on "open." Took 1-2 tries to get the hang of installing it perfectly but is so easy once you got it down.

Great option for child proofing cabinets
I’m glad we found this product for child proofing as it’s a nice, hidden lock (to not ruin the look of our kitchen). The strength of the locks are great. They are very secure and our son hasn’t been able to open the cabinets. There were challenges with install however. If you have two cabinets side by side it was easy to install because you had better access with both doors open. Doing a single door cabinet was more challenging to line the locks up. The sellers been great about responding to questions about the product. I would certainly recommend them to others who are looking to baby proof.

It was such a surprise to me how well these locks work and how easy they are to install. I bought this product to lock a China Hutch while we had a house sitter stay at our home while we were gone. I had searched for a lock for the hutch, but nothing seemed to fit or work without drilling a large hole in the hutch to insert a lock. I decided to give these magnetic cabinet locks for babies a try. This company has thought of everything to make these locks super easy to install. They are quite strong and prevent the cabinet from being opened. I installed them in a place where you can't see them, so if someone tried to open the cabinet, they would not be able to and because they can't see them, they would not know that they are baby locks. I am amazed at how well the ring magnet works at locking the locks. I really love these and would definitely recommend this brand.

Working great 4 me

These have been on for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. I attached most of them with the screws, only using the adhesive in a couple of tricky places. I could tell these locks would be more quality than the other popular brand because there were no 1 star reviews for this product during an entire calendar year (2024 I think) whereas the other popular locks have a 1 star review every couple of weeks. Maybe 25% of the screws would just keep rotating freely after I screwed them in. I assume that is because the threads could be more aggressive. But when is provided hardware any good. The magnets are super strong. One of the reasons I bought these are because the magnet shape seems less likely to be swallowed by a child and choked on. I’m glad the locks can be mounted sideways too; I had to do that for one of those lazy susan cabinets. The packaging was well thought out. These are way smaller than I thought they’d be but that’s actually good so they fit bitter in tight drawers. Would buy again.

These are a must have!!
I absolutely love these!! I had looked at other options and maybe even cheaper ones but the reviews of these sold me. I also love the feature that they can be left unlocked if needed. They are such a lifesaver! I have a 1 yo and he loves to unload cabinets so I spent much time picking up after him but these changed that, plus it keeps them out of stuff they shouldn’t be into. So far he hasn’t figured them out and we have the magnets up high on the fridge so we’ll see what happens as he gets a little older! Also love the feature of the temporary adhesive to get the lock into the right place before placing it more permanently. We didn’t use the screw option just the adhesive and it’s been working just fine! Definitely recommend if you have babies and toddlers in the house!!!

Needs Pull Tabs
I chose this brand because I noticed a focus on convenience. First the ring design of the magnet allows opening the cupboard with one hand. Second, the inclusion of a temporary starter adhesive allows for testing. I was new to installing something like this and it was comforting knowing that I could move the pieces if I needed to. But there is one glaring convenience omission. There are no pull tabs on the red backing that covers the permanent adhesive and it was tough to get off. Often my nail would grab the adhesive layer and start pulling that off instead. And I had to do this 32 times (twice for each cupboard). I'm not sure if something easier exists, but if I have to do this again I will look for it.
