LOVE this carrier. It is really heavy duty but not super heavy. We have 2 dachshund puppies that we bought this for. Now they are 8 months old and both can still fit in it but we only use for short periods of time. If I were going to travel I would get another. We used as our car seat for their first month with us. While a bit dear, this carrier is very nice! It’s spacious enough for my dog to turn around easily, it’s very sturdy, it has two access points, and secures nicely to the seatbelt. I’m Super happy with this purchase. I have a 7 pound bolognese.

After many random purchases, I finally found the perfect travel dog carrier. The sizing is perfect for my 16 pound dachshund to be comfortable and fits easily under the airline seat. Bonus feature is it has a pocket on the back that can go over my suitcase handle which keeps it secured on top of my carry on. I love that the carrier keeps its structure. While the construction of this carrier is very good, I found it to be heavy particularly after placing my 14 lb dog inside. There is an option to purchase the carrier with wheels but it only has four wheels. Six would make it easier to maneuver. Although there was ventilation on the sides there was no ventilation on top. My only nitpick is that they advertise this bag for dogs (small - medium size), but it is the perfect size for cats as well!
