The color pattern goes well with the rile in my bathroom. This is a heavy seat with metal hinges. It is NOT SOFT CLOSE....so it will slam if you drop the lid. Overall pleased. The finish in the ad pictures made it seem it was shiny but it is a matte type finish.

This toilet seat was easy to install and looks so luxurious. It is very heavy and is not a soft close so you have to use ease when closing it. The finish feels very smooth. Great buy for the price.

    • NOT AS EASY TO OPERATE AS DESCRIBED
Everything is as described EXCEPT the Quick Release feature. The main reason I bought two of this beautiful seat was for the 'Quick Release' feature; however, I have yet to figure out how the 'Quick Release' works. The YouTube video shows a totally different bracket than what came with my purchase. You might ask what is so wonderful about a 'Quick Release' feature? It allows the user to lift the seat off the commode to clean not only the toilet rim, but the seat and hardware...an awesome feature for individuals with colostomies!!!! ... show more
