We are very happy with this stool. It is heavy duty for some large behinds in our house, but swivels easily to face any direction you need. We don't use the storage inside the seat but it's there if you need it. The height is adjustable and it was definitely worth the cost.

I got this thing because we set up a dressing room (aka I have too much stuff so we turned our 2nd bedroom into a dressing room) in our new apartment. I looked at options for weeks if not months and then finally went with this. It’s great. Super sturdy and comfortable and I love the storage component. I got it because I bought this farmhouse mirror thing like 15 years ago and turned it into a vanity that I could sit in front of to do my makeup. The top of the seat flips so that it can be a tabletop which is super legit - I can see just leaving it in our living room dropped as extra seating convertible as a side table. Setting it up takes less than 5 minutes and my family keeps telling me how luxe it looks. 10/10

This is the ONLY stool I could find that adjusted to 21". The seat is very comfortable...well padded and large! The padded seat fits snug enough that I would have to work to get it to come off. It does not fit well enough to be used as a table, which would have been a nice feature, but it can still be used for storage. The base has blemishes, but nothing one of my magnetic rocks wouldn't cover. I like the stool, but considering returning it for a table top that fits. UP-DATE: I have ordered three stools, and the table tops all fit the same. As long as you can live with that, the stools are great!

I worried that the orange lift button wasn't functional because it did not respond to my finger press during assembly. The lever seemed to just tap on it and I couldn't figure out how it could raise the seat. It was only after I assembled the whole stool, and then sat on it while pushing the lever down on the orange button inside the stool, and then stood up, did the stool raise to full height. This sequence of actions worked. The seat cushion separated from the wood base during the assembly process so I used wood glue to reattach them. Customer Service was very responsive and supportive of my concerns. I think the cognac/saddle seat color is sophisticated and I love the swivel and storage features.

Love the stools. Sturdy, comfortable, adjustable, easy to assemble...if the threads aren't going together, the cap is on the wrong end of the tube. My biggest complaint is quality control. I bought 1...returned it because the metal ring didn't line-up with the wood. Received a good one. Then ordered a 2nd one, and the material is totally not stretched over the top correctly. So I'll be returning this one also...maybe 3rd time they will inspect for quality before packing the box. If these were $20 stools, I'd expect poor craftsmanship.

I was looking for something I could use to double as a piano bench/guitar chair. This is actually perfect since it sits at the perfect level for piano playing and can be raised up high with a foot rest for some guitar practicing. Plus It looks too cool. Style and function, can’t beat it. It came with some scratches on the base but I gave it 5 stars anyways.
