The index mark on the pointer missed the tip by almost 2 mm. The index mark on the shaft is neither parallel to it, nor centered. It looks like some factory slave took a manual straightedge, lined it up by eyeball, drew a mark and threw it into the done pile. Then my mailed it to me. I considered trying to clean the original marks off, because it looked like Shapie, and marking and scribing it with calipers, but decided it wasn't my job. to make their junk functional. So I don't know if the scribe marks are acid etch or easily removable Sharpie ink. In the second photo you can see that they sort of aligned the pointer with the shaft and marked both at the same time, inaccurately. Also the pivot appears to be off center. Don't waste your time and money on this, It's worthless. I just returned it. ... show more

    • The wye needs to pivot freely and it doesn't...
QC needs to do a better job checking/testing this simple feature. Mine needed a pair of pliers and WD40 to begin to pivot and doing so for 10+ minutes it has freed up enough to be usable but this thing should move with the slightest of effort. But then it only cost a few dollars.

This thing is total garbage and what you get is not what they picture. There is a very light scribe line on tool to indicate when you are lined up. It's very hard to see. The tool broke at the rivet the first time I used it. What a wist of money. I should have known this was going to be garbage coming from India. Save yourself a lot of frustration and don't buy anything from India. ... show more
