I bought these to make it easier to access work tools in the truck bed and it works well. The units slide well even though I have a fair amount of weight on them. I would recommend them to anybody looking to reach items deeper in the bed of the truck without having to climb in. Having said that here are a few things I noticed after using the slide trays daily for a couple weeks. 1) The trays aren't very wide so I can't put Milwaukee or Dewalt toolboxes in the trays in a space efficient way. A side benefit of the tray width was that they fit in my truck even though there is a gooseneck ball in the middle. After putting them in the bed of my truck my first thought was that a wider slide-out may have been a better option for me. 2) The trays slide around in the bed of the truck. This isn't a big deal to me but may be for some people. The tools that I store in them are to affected. 3) The trays are very lightweight and thin which makes moving them easy and they don't impact the height of materials that you can put under a tonneau cover. If that is not a major concern for you then you could make a similar tray using plywood with something added to the sides to create a lip as a cheaper alternative. It's not good as it describes. It leaves too many spaces unused inside truck bed. User should use force to pull items on trays in and out. It's not ideal with heavy items.

Pretty sweet, for the money. I put two by eights cut to fit on other side to make it smooth smoothly and braided metal stops along the back hooks in the bed.
