Well, to begin with the box got here all beat up. Man was I pissed. Too my surprise when opened the contents were all fine. It was packed really well. This is the second Rough country top I bought and was ready for mediocre at best, but I thought you get what you pay for. Man was I wrong. While it was a little tough to put on the truck by myself, I am truly impressed, and really happy. The fit finish and general appearance is off the charts. The build quality is as good as any $1500 top or better. I've had both. The top lays flat, the rubber stays in place, and it is almost flush with the top of the bed. This is just what needed. It fit like it should have and the tools provided though small and common, they were very useful. Easy to install and maintain so far.

I had high hopes for this bed cover but was quickly disappointed. All of these problems happened within 3 months of ownership before I got to use the truck for truck purposes. The biggest problem with my kit is the unlatching mechanism became undone. Not sure how since I hadn’t loaded the truck with anything yet. After the first wash i noticed a ton of water near the bulk head. The weather stripping that came in the kit was too short so I installed a second piece of weather stripping and the problem was fixed Minor problem but still a problem. The Rough Country badge became unglued after the second wash. Maybe I got a dud but I’m strongly thinking of a diamond back cover. ... show more

2025 GMC 2500 HD AT4 6’9” bed Received mine today and installed it without help in just over an hour. The written instructions are not very helpful but there are several videos easy to find that give clear instructions. The fit looks good and seems very durable. I had a soft top tri-fold on my last 2020 Sierra 1500 SLT for 5 years with no issues and only minimal moisture when using high pressure drive thru car wash. Unlike the old cover the new one gives access to the entire bed when needed. The only issues I see so far is 1. The self adhesive bank head strip was 3 inches too short. (I had something similar in my shop to fill the gap) 2. The drain tube is incredibly cheap and thin walled. It is extremely prone to kinking with very little angle turns. (I will get some thicker walled rubber hose at the hardware store for better durability to prevent kinks and water backing up). ... show more

I have tried two other major brands that cost twice as much and this one is far better quality. No water leaks either after driving in the rain for 2 hours a day three days in a row. Easy install and figment is great on my 2020 GMC SIERRA HD Denali. I also really like how it latches down tight, has a two way tailgate seal and full width front dust seal.
