Well, to begin with the box got here all beat up. Man was I pissed. Too my surprise when opened the contents were all fine. It was packed really well. This is the second Rough country top I bought and was ready for mediocre at best, but I thought you get what you pay for. Man was I wrong. While it was a little tough to put on the truck by myself, I am truly impressed, and really happy. The fit finish and general appearance is off the charts. The build quality is as good as any $1500 top or better. I've had both. The top lays flat, the rubber stays in place, and it is almost flush with the top of the bed. 2025 GMC 2500 HD AT4 6’9” bed Received mine today and installed it without help in just over an hour. The written instructions are not very helpful but there are several videos easy to find that give clear instructions. The fit looks good and seems very durable. I had a soft top tri-fold on my last 2020 Sierra 1500 SLT for 5 years with no issues and only minimal moisture when using high pressure drive thru car wash. Unlike the old cover the new one gives access to the entire bed when needed. The only issues I see so far is 1. The self adhesive bank head strip was 3 inches too short. (I had something similar in my shop to fill the gap) 2. The drain tube is incredibly cheap and thin walled. It is extremely prone to kinking with very little angle turns. (I will get some thicker walled rubber hose at the hardware store for better durability to prevent kinks and water backing up). ... show more

I couldn’t be happier with the Rough Country Hard Flip-Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover. Right out of the box, the cover looks fantastic and gives the truck a clean, premium appearance. One of the first things I tested was water resistance, and I’m happy to report that no water gets into the truck bed. The seals work great and keep everything inside dry, even when sprayed directly with water. The flip-up mechanism is another standout feature. I really like that you can unlock the tonneau cover from either side, making it very convenient and easy to access your truck bed. The operation is smooth, and the locking system feels secure. The materials are also very impressive. Everything feels heavy-duty, well-built, and designed to last. It definitely feels like a quality product and is worth every penny.     • Cheap junk save your money
Complete waste of money, after 35 days of owning it, wind took last portion of cover down to bed top and whole lip bent up and latch broke. Ruff country says its not covered as a defect from the factory and any refunds or replacements would have to be through Amazon. Amazon says it's over 30 days and there is nothing they can do. Both CSR just kept repeating that there was nothing they can do. Save your money and get better quality tonneau. Had a BAK flip last truck, it leaked same as this one but the durability was much better. Overall review is light weight cover, easy to open, thin panels, leaks during rain, durability is bad, after 35 days of extra light duty, broke, might as well take $750 and flush it down the toilet, it will be less work and less stressful.
