I love this suit, just like the old school snowmobile suits. I wanted to add some sizing info. I am 5'11" 190 lbs and the XL is baggy, my wife says too big by the look. It does allow plenty of room to move and is not obnoxiously baggy, so I am keeping it. Not to mention it's warm and comfortable as can be. I had my buddy try it on too, he is 6'2" 220 lbs. The XL was a picture perfect fit. When he raised both arms in the air the crotch did ride up, but that is the nature of these suits. He really liked the suit too and will probably be buying one soon. If I were buying again I would probably buy the large, but over all I love this very warm snow suit. ... show more

I bought the 2xl size. I'm 6 feet tall and I weigh 220 pounds. This fits me perfectly. For the price this can't be beat. I feel there is enough room for extra clothes underneath this suit to keep me extra warm and it will fit over the boots I use. I snowblow a mile of road while sitting on top of an open tractor. The wind blows fine snow all over the place and changes direction very quickly. In bare blue jeans my thighs turn ice cold. Not any more. This suit will keep me warm and dry. Average for now. I just ordered it and will update when it arrives. Reading other reviews, only saw 1 review regarding shoveling snow which is what I bought it for. A friend gave me one years ago and thought was time for a new one. He gave me a medium. Which I think fit ok. So that's what I ordered, thinking small may be too small. I'm 5'5 1/2". 123lbs. If I was using it to ski or other physical activities, small may be better, when I get it I'll see about another one. Hard buying clothes on line. All companies different. 11/18 Arrived today. Fits great. A little roomie, but small may been too snug or short legged. Detachable hood is great, and like upper chest pocket. Standard metal waist clip to cinch mid section. Con: side pockets are open, no zipper closure. Shame on you rescue suit! great to put hands in but not to secure anything. But does have zippered top pocket. My old suit had the standard plastic buckle clip and had zippered pockets- but no hood. I like the stripe, breaks up the basic black. Lighter than old suit. But I think should serve purpose for shoveling. Without making me get over-heated. I thought it was a great buy, as I've no idea how much ski suits cost and never shipped for one. The last one was hand me down and given to me. Inner leg cuffs were ripping, so thought it time to be on the ready while price was good and stock was available. Seems water resistant for those wet snow shoveling days. Over all , you probably can't go wrong with this suit. As stated I'm relatively a small guy and wear sm. under- things. But top wear, medium probably fits better. If it's frigid out with T, shirt, sweatshirt then stepping into this should be a good fit. This product is exactly as described. As such I can not speak ill of it in any way. Great price, very warm, repels rain/snow. If that is all you need look no further. If however you are like myself and a year round motorcycle rider and you're looking to keep warm when riding in these cold weather months, I have a little more to say to you. This suit is made of nylon. It handles cold environments quite well. But (and that is a heavy backside), it WILL NOT handle close proximity to an exhaust pipe! Nylon turns to an off-white/yellow colored liquid when melted. And melt it will. So if you're seeking a good winter riding suit you had best look a mite further. I purchased this for my husband he drives a fork lift outside and the snow suit was perfect for the season , I will purchase another one this coming season as it was pretty durable and not to thick for getting on and off the fork lift it took a lot of wear and tear on the job that is wasn’t made for! this is a well made suit, fits perfectly. just pay attention to the inseam length you want and that takes care of a nice fit. it is not bulky but warm which is what I was interested in. Looks decent enough. Slick, quilted fabric. But far shorter than desired, maybe by 6" in the legs. Rest of the suit fits just fine. Ordered a Medium for a 6' tall person. Zip off hood is nice.
