Work boots are one of the things that I could never have enough of. This is the second pair that I have ordered from this seller. I like the quality and comfort that both pairs provide. The real leather is a big factor for me because the boots always last longer. The outside of these boots are very tough, the rubber that covers the leather on the toe area is super tough, the soles of the boots have super good traction. These boots are very comfortable and no "break-in" period was needed. I like that I can wear these boots in hot and cold weather. My feet are able to breathe in these boots, which keeps them from getting too hot or too cold. There is good cushioning around the top of the boots that keeps the ankles well protected. The cushioning also allows me to tie the boots as tight as I want to, without causing pain in my ankles and without hurting the blood flow to my ankles and feet. Once I found how the boots fit the best, I have not untied the laces because there is no need to do so. This is where the zippers became my best friends. I can put the boots on and take the boots off in a matter of seconds because of the zippers. These boots are made for people who have wide feet. They are especially wide at the arch support section. The toe box is also wider than normal, which keeps the toes from getting all scrunched up throughout the day. Also, these boots are made big. I normally wear a size 10.5, I ordered a size 10 and I have plenty of room inside the boots. I have put these boots through some harsh conditions and they have performed flawlessly. They are proving themselves to be a good, tough, & durable pair of work boots. I would recommend for those who have wide feet.

They feel good & holding up great so far. For the price you can't go wrong. A lot cheaper than Rocky boots or Columbia footwear. We'll see how well these will hold up. I'll follow up with updates if there are any changes. Edit: Proactively, the company sent me the correct color (black). They were very responsive to the issue and they said they fixed the ordering issue. The black ones are the same quality and work with my uniform now, and even with other pants. I gave them 2 stars back for the effort. When I got these there were three reviews up, two of them saying they got the wrong color. They ordered black and got kaki or ordered kaki and got black. I figured crazy mistake but surely that couldn’t happen again. I work as a police officer and need black boots which is what I ordered. I got kaki, which are totally worthless to me as I can not wear them with the uniform. This is very disappointing because the boots are actually very good. I did try them on and test them for the review. They are comfortable with good padding on the sides and footbed. The boots are heavy duty and should stand up to a lot of heavy use. There is a protective composite toe for protection and no electrical conductivity. They even got simple things right like a ridge on the back of the heel for easier getting on and off. On that note the zipper is fabulous and one of the key reasons I got the boot; tie them once and then zip on and off. Though even without the zipper the top three rows are fast lacing hooks. The upper leather feels like quality and is soft and flexible. There is plenty of traction on the sole and lot of protection on all sides. I usually wear and ordered an 8.5 and the fit was good. It is a little loose all around which adds to the comfort, and you can vary by different levels of sock thickness. Overall, the boot features are probably a 5, but I am taking 3 stars off for the continued color mistake and they fact that I can not use them at all.

These boots with their triple stitched, leather uppers are very well made and comfortable. I especially like the fact that you can lace them up and then use the side zipper to put them on/off without having to lace them up every time. Pros: 1) Heavy duty leather uppers with triple stitching and a rubberized toe to help prevent against water intrusion. 2) Toe is a non-metal reinforcing material that makes these safe for work in electrical hazard areas. 3) They are well padded and lines with a wicking material to help keep your feet comfortable. 4) The sole is not heavily lugged so they will not track in an over abundance of dirt/mud. Cons; 1) They are a little large compared to my other boots and it gets some getting used to, (not large in wearing size but large in contrast. Like putting on ski boots when you're used to tennis shoes, large). Overall, these are a quality boot that justifies the cost. They'll be great work boots and can double as hiking boots given their design and comfort. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to a friend or family member.
