Gorgeous bowl, and this 0.8 qt size is perfect for a lot of things. I use it daily to mix up scrambled eggs...this size handles 3 or 4 eggs quite nicely, and the shape allows you to whip the eggs without them sloshing out as would happen with a shallower bowl. Admittedly rather overpriced, I still sprang for it because of the unique size and shape, which I hadn't seen with any other brand. I wanted a bowl that had a seemless lip so food wouldn't get trapped, a smooth inside with minimal ridges to make it easy to scrap out batter, and no silicon on the bottom that will deteriorate long before the stainless steel. Well this bowl fit that ticket. Although a bit expensive it is so well made it will be handed down after I'm gone. It'd take quite a blow before this will even dent. I agree with another reviewer that the edges of the bowl can seem a bit sharp as the steel is thin where it folds down, but it's not bad enough for me to lower my score down to three stars.
