I bought 4 of these containers. One of my lids arrived damaged, as I have seen in many other reviews. I contacted the company and they sent me another lid, no hassle. I didn't have to return the damaged lid, I just had to provide photo evidence. They work well and seem sturdy. My assumption is that they aren't packed well in the box and that it can cause the lid to get cracked. But once you have the lid in place on the container it is sturdy and doesn't feel easily breakable. ... show more

These things are humongous. They hold a ton of things. We have four of them in our shed. The only question I have is the durability over time. When our set was delivered two of the four lids were completely shattered. The vendor promptly sent us another set. No issues with the vendor. My concern is if the lids shattered so easily in transit, how are they going to hold up to being moved around fully loaded. I guess only time will tell. ... show more

These totes go above and beyond your standard storage container. I bought a set of 4 of the 27 gallon totes, and they have been an enormous help in getting attic and cabinet space around our house cleaned and organized. I stored tons of our family holiday decorations in old cardboard boxes for many years, which worked well enough but took up lots of space with different sized boxes that never quite fit perfectly together no matter how you stacked or arranged them. These totes made short work of our cluttered attic space and made it much more organized and easy to navigate. Combine these with a good label maker and there are very few household storage tasks these couldn't handle. What had taken 7 or 8 very large cardboard boxes to store now takes only two of these totes. They can be easily stacked and the lids are quite sturdy, you would have to hit them with some serious concussive force to actually ding or damage them, they don't flex and weaken like normal storage container lids do. They aren't hard polymerized plastic like some storage or camping chests are, so you can't jump up and down on them or anything but they are sturdy enough to stack and slide without a second thought of damaging them unless you are being REALLY rough with them. The handles are large and easy to hold, and the actual container itself is very sturdy as well. I have probably 30-40 lbs. of things stored in each one and they don't give or flex at all when being picked up at full capacity, they could very easily store more weight if needed. The containers did arrive with a little bit of stray dust from the warehouse and shipping on the sides and interior, but nothing a damp paper towel couldn't fix in a minute or two. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and will very likely order more of these for future organization and cleaning around our house. I highly suggest getting a set or two of these for your next big house or attic organizing adventure. ... show more

Ordered heavy duty- storage totes. They were not tough- walls were pliable & shiny plastic. Not lik description. Return accepted - but-Seller wouldn’t provide info on weight 2 ship bak. seller- fedx pikup didn’t give correct info 2 get refund$$$ bak. I cancelled from fed x pikup & amazon says- I cancelled the order! Not true. Amazon said- I would get prepaid label 2 return. That never happened! Amazon wouldn’t acknowledge any 6-8 attempts from me 2 resolves this thru honestly compiling & checkin emails & calling amazon bak & what “a rabbit hole- goin down & amazon not resolving it! Last Amazon call on hold- so I could talk 2 -“ manager!” Amazon just hung up! I Lv amazon but hav never been thru this!
