  • Great for many scenarios...
Color: Black
I have never used an induction cooktop before. So I had to go out and buy a couple of magnetic pans to use with this thing. Evidently, it will shutoff if incompatible pots/pans are placed on the surface which is awesome. I had planned to eventually get new ones anyway since I am switching my home to all electric and will get an induction stove soon. Man, am I glad I tried this out! This thing boils water so much faster than my gas burners. All while saving me a ton of money because it is paid for by solar. I heated water on both burners at the same time and they both started boiling within a few seconds of each other. I am no chef or anything so for me there is no debate over electric vs gas. I would rather have the more efficient setup which is definitely something like this. I plan to use this as a back up to my main electric stove/oven when I convert over to all electric as I will leave it outside of my backed up loads. That way, if there is an outage, I can just use this little two burner which will be great and more efficient than my stove/oven since it can just be unplugged and stored away. No phantom power draw or accidently full power draw. And the foldability makes this thing compact when you want to store it away. It fits on my pantry shelf easily with room to spare. I have not tried it, but as far as I know you can also touch the top of an induction cooktop without burning yourself since it doesn't heat the surface, it just directs magnetic fields at the pots/pans. Great safety factor IMO. For the price, this seems like a no-brainer to me. ... show more

  • Powerful, Space-Saving Dual Induction Cooktop That Makes Cooking Much Easier
Color: Blue
This dual induction cooktop has been a fantastic addition to my camper. The two independent burners make it easy to cook multiple dishes at the same time, so I can boil pasta on one side while preparing a sauce or browning meat on the other. It has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend making meals. One of my favorite features is the foldable design. It stores away much more easily than a traditional double burner, and the built-in handle makes it simple to move or take along for camping, an RV, or even a vacation rental. It’s a great option if you have limited counter space. The controls are intuitive, and I appreciate having multiple preset cooking modes along with adjustable power and temperature settings. Whether I’m simmering something delicate, bringing water to a boil, or searing meat, it’s easy to fine-tune the heat. The timer and keep-warm function are also very convenient for busy evenings. Heating is impressively fast thanks to the induction technology, and it responds almost immediately when adjusting the temperature. Just be sure to use induction-compatible cookware with a magnetic base for it to work properly. Overall, this is a well-designed, efficient, and versatile induction cooktop. It heats quickly, saves space, and offers plenty of cooking flexibility. I would definitely recommend it for apartments, RVs, dorms, small kitchens, or anyone looking for a portable extra cooking surface. ... show more

  • Heats fast, and adjusts instantly. Don't like the presets
Color: Black
I have been thinking the next stove I get will be an induction stove so I wanted to try out induction cooking before I went all in. As for induction cooking, I think I will like it. I checked my pans with a magnet, and all but one will be compatible so that will not be an issue. I love how quick the pans heat up, and how quick they adjust when i want to turn it up or down. almost instant. That is for induction in general For this Foldable Dual Induction cooktop, there are some things I like, and some that I do not like. Like: It is a dual burner, so I can cook more than just one thing at a time. It is induction and works quickly and efficiently it can fold up and fit just about anywhere Is lightweight and easy to carry. Super easy to clean The unit itself does not get hot (just residual heat from your pan, but it cools off quick once the pan is removed It will tell you if your pan is not compatible (or just not there) Things I wish cold be better: I wish the Do it yourself setting was the default, before all the preset ones. You have to scroll through all the P1-P7 to get to P8 that lets you set the temp to any of the settings and change it while cooking to any temp. It defaults to the sauté setting, but only lets you turn it down to 360 degrees at that setting. Often I want to saute at a high heat for a few minutes, then lower the temp to a slow simmer after a liquids is added. Some of the settings do something like that, but it is all preset and I want more control so I will probably just use the DIY setting and adjust the temp like I do on my stove. SO, when it is on a P1-P7 setting and I want to turn it down or up to a temp that is not in that pre-set range, it will not let me. And it also will not let me change the setting level while it is on. I have to turn it off, turn it back on, then push the setting button 1-8 time so I am at the right setting, and THEN I can turn to the temp I want (if it is not the default temp for that particular setting) And I wish one burner were a little larger in diameter. When I was using a bigger frying pan. (10 inch) it cooked really well in the middle, but the edges had almost no heat. I had to constantly stir to move the edge food into the middle so it cooked evenly. Laying some bacon down, they burnt in the middle before the sides could even begin to cook. This was not an issue for boiling liquids or making soups, but fry frying in a larger frying pan it was irksome. With my small 8 inch frying pan it was not a issue at all, so if you never use a 10 or 12 inch pan it will not matter. But it would have been so much better if at least one of the burners were inch or two larger in diameter. L:astly, I wish there was some sort of built in Cord Management for the power cord when it is folded up for storage. You either have to leave it plugged it and wrap the cord around it (but it comes unwrapped almost instantly). Doing this prevents you from storing it flat. Or remove the cord and keep it next to it and hope it doesn't get lost. ... show more

  • Lousy controls, no direct temperature display, bad user manual, Insensitive touch controls.
Color: Blue
I wish I could give this induction cooktop five stars. It works and cooks fast. But the user manual is terrible, the controls are totally counter-intuitive, and the touch buttons are unresponsive. The on/off touch button for example only turns the cooktop on or off when it feels like doing, and it never works on my first push. The controls are very counter-intuitive. It IS a cooktop! Where is the temperature display in degrees F? Where is the timer display in minutes or seconds? No where to be found! Instead, all that a user could see on the display is a code for a temperature: C2 for 150F, C4 for 210F, C7 for 390F, etc... It is a huge drawback that I can't dial in the exact temperature I want to cook with and instead have to live with these codes and their preset temperatures. The various default cooking modes P1, P2, P3, etc... are just someone's figments of imagination on what a saute or slow cook etc.. should have in cooking time and temperature. Is it too much to ask for a manual temperature dial that I could dial in the exact temperature that I want? Is it too much to have a manual timer dial that I could just dial in the cooking time that I want? Ideally there should be 3 knobs and three displays: program selector and display, temperature selector and display, as well as a timer selector and display. The user could just select a program cook or go full manual. Then the user could tweak the cooking temperatures and times exactly to what they need. None of these options are available with this cooktop. There is no place to store the electric power cord when folded up and put away. By the way only certain types of cookware will work, such as iron and stainless steel cookware with flat bottoms. Other types of cookware such as rounded bottoms, aluminum, copper, aluminum/copper clad stainless steel, glass, and ceramic won't work. The manual is terrible, the interface needs lots of improvements, and the touch sensitive buttons are very insensitive. So it cooks but is just terrible to use. Two stars for the rating is about right in my opinion. ... show more

  • Cooking at work!
Color: Blue
I got this induction cooktop to keep in the kitchen at work, and so far it's been working really well. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and the dual burners give me plenty of flexibility for preparing meals. I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy more home-cooked lunches instead of relying on takeout. The foldable design is a nice bonus because it doesn't take up too much space when I'm not using it, and it's easy to store. It also feels well-made and has been performing exactly as I hoped. Overall, I'm very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a portable induction cooktop for work, a dorm, an RV, or a small kitchen. ... show more

  • Convenient Dual Burner for Everyday Cooking
Color: Black
This dual induction cooktop is a great option when you need extra cooking space or don't have a full-size stove. The two burners heat up quickly, and the controls are easy to understand. I also like that it folds for more compact storage when not in use. The different cooking modes and adjustable timer make it versatile for everything from boiling water to simmering sauces. It feels well made, and the automatic shutoff provides added peace of mind. Just be sure to use induction-compatible cookware. Overall, it's a practical and efficient cooktop for apartments, dorms, RVs, or as an extra burner for busy kitchens. ... show more

  • Incredible quality, heats up fast and highly portable!
Color: Black
This is perhaps the best induction burner I’ve ever come across. It’s extremely durable and well made. It’s also very compact and portable and it easily fits under an RV bench seat or in a cabinet. It heats up pretty quickly and has a lot of safety features as well to prevent any burns or accidental fires such as not heating up unless there’s a pot on it. It’s very easy to use and has all the preset temps and settings for you to reference right on the burner which is very helpful. It’s also very easy to clean and wipes off with hot water and soap. Fantastic deal for the price. ... show more

  • Keeper
Color: Blue
This induction cooktop is well worth the money. I took it out of the box plugged it in and started cooking. I wanted to see how fast it heated and how even it cooked my steak. I cooked a steak on each burner, and I must say I was impressed. We do a lot of camping and tailgating. This will definitely come in handy. This cooktop is lightweight and gives you all you need to prepare a rough and ready meal on the go or at home. I absolutely love it. ... show more
