Bought this bed on discount. Great value for price paid. Quality seems better than several local furniture places (overstock; big lots). A power driver makes the assembly really easy. Just be sure to tighten the last few revolutions carefully / slowly. Leveling is also slightly tricky. Make sure to adjust the support beams to be even with bed top and to stop when they are. The adjusters otherwise allow for the beams to warp (and potentially break) if you’re not paying attention. The bed is sturdy and easily allowed for myself, wife and 2 children to be on it at the same time for bedtime story time. We bought it for our toddler but I see it as a great “grow with you” bed that doesn’t need any upgrades as our child grows. It allows for safety bed rails to be easily installed. The bed frame itself looks beautiful. I didn't give it 5* only because of the sturdiness. I bought a queen and it came with 3 slat support to go across. They are definitely flimsy and could have included at least 2 more to make it sturdier. Over all its a decent bed for the price. The fabric on the headboard was nice not as cheap as I thought it would look. I was impressed with the material for the cost. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget. Just add extra slats for support and you're good to go. ... show more

I gave it a 3 because as much as i loved it the footboard on the right side came broken and I didn't see it until basically the bed was complete. It's too much work to take it all apart and ship back so I kept it. But, upset that it came broken.
