First and foremost I have to say I admire the customer service this company offered. They even reached out via email to make sure I definitely ordered two Murphy beds, which I did btw. My first thought was "wow" I can't remember the last time a company put that much effort into their customers especially on Amazon! Secondly their follow up message asking how things turned out was even more admirable! While my husband was putting it together, he was the one that got stumped because of the reversal of directions. Lol. (He was a train and auto mechanic who built jeeps on the side mind you). He called me over frustrated and I immediately saw the issue and just turned the book upside down to show him what needed to be done (Personally I think he was trying to use the reverse directions as an excuse to stop and didn't think I would pick up on the reversal issue). Lmao. 🤣. Anyway, the process was brutal being we (he) had two to build but with one I think it wouldn't have been as bad. So as far as directions, in the manual, they need to be updated for sure. This is definitely a negative but the honest customer service has made this purchase worth it despite the long manual labor involved Thirdly, we were disappointed with the lack of hardware covers because having the screws exposed makes it look not so good. With all that said yes I will give a great review (5star) because overall it's a great piece. Also because of the fact that they were honest about this being a new product they have produced and wanted to know of any kinks, as well as their original contact to ensure I actually ordered two Murphy beds which points out most importantly, their care in customer satisfaction! After numerous pleasant communications with the company, they have agreed to partially refund my money to cover the cost of the screw covers to cover the screws that were e lol exposed. I wish this company great success with their business and I do believe they will get it as long as they continue to show customer satisfaction is their #1 goal. You may get overwhelmed by the amount of steps it takes to put this bed together and it comes in 4 boxes that weigh over 100#'s each,but,the directions are clear. Just read,read,read all the warnings. And I do suggest a professional for the anchoring to the wall. It turned out beautiful! And I love to color. Definitely good support. Also,Definitely a heavy mattress is needed..80#'s at least. ... show more

We love the Murphy Bed so far, but we haven’t had it super long. The only thing I will say we don’t like is that we are now getting spammed with texts by the seller. Hopefully that stops. But otherwise, it looks very nice in our space.

Absolutely love this Murphy bed. I have gotten so many compliments on it. My husband and I built this in 1 day. (It was a looong day) definitely need 2 people and power tools to speed up the process. Make sure to follow the steps exactly as it shows. We added an additional piece of wood across the way for mounting purposes as our studs were not aligning to where the wall mounts go. The Murphy bed is sturdy and great quality. It fits perfect in my office and gives me so much open space that it doesn’t feel crammed. It’s very functional. I love the fact that it has two plug in outlets. It comes in handy. I would recommend this Murphy bed to everyone. ... show more
