I bought a Sealy Matress in 2012 when I purchased my Queen bed, total price $2400. (Nice Mohagany bed and mattress). The mattress lasted about 2 years before the springs began to sag, and I put up with it until now, getting a memory foam topper and even flipping it upside down even though it wasn't made to. Used boards, pillows anything to keep it from sagging. Thing is, I broke my back in 2009 and am in bed a lot since it is so bad they can't operate. But soft beds are not for me or my back. The Sealy was supposed to be a very firm mattress, but it wasn't. Having lost everything and getting some settlements from disability I bought everything I could with the money I got the bed among them so I needed it to last - cause I can't afford another $1000 mattress. I joined Amazon in 2011 and I love shopping here. Lately, they've been giving me payment options, (5 monthly with no interest) and I bought a computer and other things when they offer it. I was searching for an inexpensive mattress a hybrid because I'm 220 (I quit smoking and gained weight and have lost 30 lbs, and will lose more I hope) and I need something I won't sink into and that I can sit on the edge of. This mattress was offered for $189.00 and I read all the reviews and decided that I would probably get a firm one, which was everything I wanted. So far, it is. It came via UPS and they left it at the back door, didn't ring the bell and he was walking back to his truck before I got outside. The cardboard box was beat up, but not too bad. I got some neighbors to take it upstairs for me and I undid everything and when I cut the plastic wrap it started inflating. The mattress is pristine, no marks, no rips, tears, anything and inflated perfectly. In 8 hours it was it's full height. It is now the next day and been 24 hours and I've set it up with a Sealy memory foam 3" Topper and it is PERFECT. Very firm. Even without the topper I thought it very comfortable, but the topper makes it just great. I bought some deep pocket Queen sheets and they fit a bit tight. So... that's my experience and I'm so far impressed with the quality and the firmness of the mattress. It is comfortable, you can't feel the springs through it unless you press very hard, but get a topper, it'll be perfect and you won't have to pay $1000 for a mattress that will probably be useless in a few years. I noticed the price went to $215 and I would pay that, and even if this only lasts a few years, I'll have gotten my money's worth and will just replace it or get one like it. I will update in six months and a year to tell you how it's going. Update: It is now almost September, 2019 and this mattress is stellar. Has not lost any of its spring, and is still quite firm but comfortable. With the memory foam mattress topper on it (eggshell type) it has been great on my back. I could not be happier with it. Note: I have been flipping it every three months to different sides since I am heavier than my wife. So far, it has held up well. I'll update in the spring, 2020... I notice though that the price went up to $231 but that is still a really good price. I'm thinking of buying another an storing it to use in five years (if this one lasts). I suspect the price will keep going up on these.... Update 2: (May 2020) This mattress is awesome. It hasn't sagged a bit, is still nice and firm and holding up well. I make sure and flip it every couple of months and with the topper, you can even turn it upside down. It was hard to get queen sheets to stay on - so I bought all king sheets and they are better, I see price is now $217 and that's good, don't be afraid to order this mattress!

I consider buying a mattress a painful experience, sort of like buying a car. I tried shopping locally and it was a horrible experiement. The markups were totally ridiculous and they just wanted to nickel and dime me so I turned to the internet. Coming from a not so good, 100% memory foam mattress I did research, looked at company websites, online reviews and YouTube channels too. After all of that, I finally settled on the Celadon 12" hybrid gel memory foam w/ innerspring mattress and ordered it from Amazon. First of all, the Amazon delivery man was excellent, wearing his protective gear, he helped me get the box into my home. Unboxing the mattress was easy and it expanded perfectly, it was fully ready to go in about an hour. There was ZERO odor, no smell of any kind out of the box or the mattress itself when taken out of its plastic wrapper. I took a nap on it to give it a quick test and it's perfect for me. The top padding breathes and is very comfortable, did I say no odor? The support coils are firm with just the right amount of give so you don't feel like you are fighting with the mattress. It's easy to maunver your sleeping position and it feels equally good resting on my back, side, or stomach. Overall the mattess is very well made with good attention to detail. I had a question about the mattress and I called Classic Brands. They were excellent over the phone and the woman I spoke with reminded me not to tear off the tag because the mattress has a 10 year warranty. This was my first online mattress purchase and I was pretty skeptical, but it turned out to be a breeze. I highly recommend this particular mattress and Amazon.

We bought a sofa sleeper and it came with a terrible Serta innerspring 4 inch mattress. Absolutely terrible mattress, I felt the bar and couldn’t get comfortable at all. So I was looking for a mattress thick enough to possibly not feel the bar but more so for the comfort, as long as it was comfortable I’d take feeling the bar any day. I ordered this mattress 2 days ago and it arrived today, unboxing it was a bit of a task but I grunted and made a hilarious show of unboxing it to the amusement of my grandmother. It was vacuumed sealed and as soon as I ripped the packaging and inflated immediately. Let me tell ya, laying on this is a dream compared to the atrocity that came with the sofa, I couldn’t feel the bar, my grandma layed on it and she loved it, same with my mother. AND THATS NOT ALL, it folded up back into the sofa!! I was really worried I’d have to fold it up and store it somewhere other than on the bed, but nope, fit like a glove. If you have a sleeper sofa, get this, buy it now, you will not regret it. The only small downside is the slight odor, though I let it air of for about 8 hours and I’m laying on it now and it’s fine. Definitely need to air it out once you get but seriously not even that big of a deal. Buy. This. Mattress. Edit: I’ve slept on the mattress multiple times now, I’m a bigger woman, I just had a baby so I’m holding onto extra weight. The first couple times I slept on it I couldn’t feel the bar, but after a couple times the bar is definitely still there and still a pain in my ass. I’ve resorted to taking the mattress that came with the bed and putting the foam mattress on top of that to help with that and it’s pretty comfortable. This is still an amazing mattress and if you’re lighter you may not have as big of an issue. Also the smell still isn’t completely gone from the mattress so I’m going to keep it folded out during the week to try to get completely rid of it. The mattress itself is incredibly comfortable, sleeper sofas just suck lol
