One star because after the return window closes there’s no way of contacting the company for assistance which is very inconvenient for customers and extremely convenient for the company. This product arrived on May 1, 2024. I hired a couple of guys to assemble. The product was very nice once completed. However, there were a few issues about stability like places where the fencing didn’t reach poles which highlighted construction inadequacies in regards to pet restraints and protection. For the price paid, I didn’t complain. It’s July 23rd at the time of the review (the first chance I’ve had to share) and the tarp has been completely demolished by rain. The cover is in shreds and our dogs haven’t even used the kennel for more than 2 hours here and there. They wined and sat there inside just looking at me! 😅 Anyway, the problem is that the kennel fails to have enough bars to cross the top of the kennel that would better support the canopy top appropriately. The result is that when it rains it remains inside of the cover causing it to pull down until someone can get down there, enter the kennel, and push underneath the cover, and force the water out. This is time consuming, a wet mess, and requires strength. Unfortunately, the return window has closed and we’re stuck with a kennel without a canopy. Amazon reps have no options to assist and no manufacturer contact information. This is extremely frustrating and unappreciated. One would think a dog kennel would last beyond TWO SHORT months. It’s such an eyesore on the property now. So we had no choice but to remove the canopy all together which doesn’t make it any better. I would not recommend this kennel unless you’re willing to add extra poles to support the canopy along with purchasing a tarp of greater quality. ... show more

Major design flaw, huge gap (5 plus inches) between two of the post that have chain link. All of my dogs can get out of this with little to no effort and i have medium size dogs (husky and shepherd). We are going to have to figure out a way to close the gap because there is no way I’m tearing it down to return now. I would recommend buying a different kennel. This might hold a mini horse or something but that’s about it. ... show more

This cage is much smaller than shown. Difficult to put together as well. Doubt it will last another rain storm as one of the holes to hold the top on has already ripped. Also collects a lot of water on one side and it is not as taunt as shown.

Beware! My dog fit through this.. unfortunately this won’t work for us unless we get more fencing. This was also a pain to put together and would require a lot of time to break down in order to return.

    • this kennel is a piece of crape i would of returned it but the box got tore up
it wasnt sturdy poles didnt match the wire on top and on bottom was unwinding and my dog got out .
