We were very impressed with how well packed the wall bed was for delivery. It came in two boxes and the parts inside were very protected. The instructions for assembly were quite clear and understandable and the packages with the parts were clearly labeled. It took a fair amount of time to assemble it, but it went together without any problems. Everything was fashioned with precision. We bought a 12” mattress to go on it and it fits great! It looks good and the lifting function works quite smoothly. We are very pleased with this choice!

Game Changer for My Guest/Workout Room

This Murphy bed exceeded every expectation. I put it in my guest bedroom, which also serves as my exercise room, and the amount of space it opens up is incredible. The pneumatic lift is unbelievably smooth — raising and lowering the bed takes almost no effort at all. Before buying, I checked with a local Murphy bed company and they quoted me $5,000+. Getting this bed for a fraction of that price feels like a steal. It’s solid, well‑built, and the styling is beautiful. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This bed is a winner

Wow! This was not easy but it was worth it!

We have received our bed and are putting it together. Be aware it says it requires 3 people and directions are long. Also know that while it takes time, the company will respond to emails if you have questions. Ok! Here is a video showing exactly how the bed looks and operates. Our ceilings in the guest room are only 8 ft so assembling and positioning something that is this heavy and 7ft tall was challenging. We are so beyond happy with the results though! The bed is simple to open and close and feels very sturdy and secure. We did attach the bed to the studs in our walls for security. Be aware that you will have to remove moulding on the part of the wall that the bed will be attached to. End result is great and we are very happy with our purchase!

Good quality and reasonably simple to assemble.

It's a lot better quality than I expected. I was expecting to have to do some reinforcements but it didn't require it. A lot of furniture is made out of particle board or MDF now. This is made out of 11 ply plywood and has some solid wood parts. It wasn't much more expensive to just buy it already cut and ready to assemble vs trying to build it myself with the price of lumber. The paint finish was perfect too. It did take about 6 hours from start to finish to assemble and be ready to go.

Lack of Quality Control

Positives. Received the bed quicker than originally promised. Instructions very easy to follow. Finished product looks and operates great. Negative. One of the side pieces was missing the threaded inserts. No way to attach the pivot. It was the weekend and customer service closed. Trip to the hardware store to buy inserts. (We live about 20 miles from town) Holes for the piece between the two fold down legs was drilled too deep. Provided screws wouldn’t bite. Another trip to the hardware store for longer screws. Quality control appears to be lacking.

Great product

It is made of decent wood and I think will be a very good extra bed for our family comes home. We liked the fact that we could have a thicker mattress. We bought a 12 inch memory foam mattress and that will fit great. My husband is very handy but to give you a heads up he has at least seven hours into putting it together. He did most of it alone, there were a few things I helped him hold and getting it set up to the wall. The stepladder is there because he’s fastening it to the wall right now. He was pleased with the instructions, they were quite thorough. The only thing I’m not impressed with is little white sticky dots that cover the screw holes where they are countersunk but I can live with that. we were very limited on space to have an extra bed so this was perfect answer and we looked at many Murphy beds and the “buffet” style look online and in furniture and this one met our needs and at at decent price point. ($899 + tax). I added the video a little later and a photo of the “snooze test”! We wish we would have had room for a queen size but the full size will do for most of our needs.We love it!

Great Deal, Good quality

Overall, I was impressed with the quality for the price. This was one of the only Murphy Beds that I could find that would actually fit our mattress, and despite our mattress being the "max size," it fit with ease! The directions were very easy to follow up until the steps for mounting on the wall, but we made it work. Assembly definitely isn't quick, but the directions were clear and the pieces clearly labeled. We did buy different screws to mount it into the wall because we were pretty sure the bolts provided were for concrete/cinderblock and we have drywall and studs! It is very secure now though! I think it looks perfect from a distance. My only complaint is that up close, the sides of the slats aren't fully painted, so you can see the wood.
