    • Simple, understated fixture with great features

Bought two in the 15.8" white to replace some nice but poorly functioning fixtures in my kitchen, and they are quite great. I programmed one of the remotes to control both lights, and they work in perfect sync, no delay, no problems. The remote is radio frequency rather than infrared or something you'd have to point or keep close, so that's great. They also come with a little remote cradle we stuck next to our wall switch. These fixtures are inexpensive, so don't expect heavy metal construction. Perfect for a kitchen, and they're somewhat reminiscent of normal recessed lighting, but just bigger. And the glowing back-light is fantastic, worth the price of admission all by itself. I do wish they'd bulge a little more so that there's a little more horizontal spread to the light. There is some spread, but a little more would be better. If the glowing back-light would change color and get brighter with the rest of the light, it might solve this problem, but unfortunately it doesn't, it's specifically for a mellow indirect glow. Having three set light colors for the main lamp is great for matching the outside ambient light in our kitchen from day to evening. We have a skylight in our kitchen and one of the color setting actually matches the light perfectly for most of the day. Overall these are a great value! I love everything about this light. The installation was an absolute breeze, as long as you have a pre existing connection for a light fixture, it is so simple. It is a great size for a regular room or a hallway. The amount of light is adjustable with the little remote control that is included in the package, it also has a handy little holder that you can place on the wall with either the double sided sticky tape or the small wall screws, both of which are included with the light. Both customization of the color of the light and intensity of brightness can be achieved with the remote which can a really change the look and atmosphere of the area it is in. Especially for the times when you need more of a bright light and the times when you just want a softer type of relaxing light. The handy wall caddy makes it easy to find the remote and keeps you from misplacing it, as long as you place it back in the holder 🙂 I placed mine right at the entry to the hallway where I hung the light and it works great. It’s really nice having that caddy because goodness knows I have enough remotes to try and keep track of, lol. The light also has a wonderful night light feature that is really nice the intensity of this light can be adjusted as well! It is not a heavy piece but it seems to be well made. Again, one of those products you’re kind of skeptical of at first this thing was great to install easy to use the remotes. Nice the light settings are amazing. There’s a lot of variables on it that you could set the light setting too. The nightlight portion is great specially if you’re putting in kids room Really not much else to say other than this is goodbye. It does not sit completely flesh with the ceiling there’s a half inch gap which is not a bad thing. It makes it so if it gets hot in that light it can breeze but I would suggest this item I’m gonna be putting in one or two more my house. ... show more

Great light! Great price! Easy to install! We bought to upgrade an old ceiling fan and it’s perfect. Lots of settings with an easy to use remote. Stays on whatever setting when you use the light switch. Might even have to get more for other rooms!
