My tires are porous and I had not driven my truck in a while so two of the for were completely flat. I had charged the compressor battery first thing and I noticed, it seems to run the best right through that battery. But we also used connected to the truck battery and then they the plug into the wall socket. I was surprised it was able to handle all 4 tires but I did change the power source around, but those is good too know it can get you out of a bind. As long as you keep the battery charged and everyone ready to go you'll be fine. But it's not recommended to leave in the hot car. My tires size is LT 265/ 75R16 for reference. I prefer this over my harbor freight pan cake inflator that took forever to build up pressure and struggled in certain temperatures... This one is ready to go plus it reads your tire pressure when you get started and you can let it do its thing and it stops at the psi you set. The reason I bought this compressor over some of the others is the long warranty. I read through many many advertisements and reviews and this one stuff out to me even though it's a little higher than some of the other but I also knew I wanted this for my pick up and my car. I decidedv to invest a little more money since it gives the warranty. Very easy to register for the warranty also, just scan the code/send a text and you're good. Not the annoying having to log in and make an account on a website bla bla..... Overall I am pleased and it does as advertised for me. Blessings to you💚

Very handy to have around. Only issue I had with mine is that the battery tends to go dead quickly. Fill about 4 tires. But it has the option to plug it in. Had mine for a couple years now and works very well.

I purchased this tire inflator/air compressor as a graduate school graduation gift for my son. The unit has been working well until the cigarette lighter power cord stopped working and he could not use the inflator to deflate/inflate his tires when driving on the beach. I contacted RoofPax and almost immediately received a response from Jade, apologizing for the malfunction and informing me that the company is sending out a replacement unit. Not even three days later, a brand new tire inflator was delivered. When initially shopping on Amazon for his gift, one of the reasons I chose RoofPax is because there were comments about the excellent customer service. That is absolutely true. So many times something goes wrong with a purchase and the follow up with a company or seller is non existent. Not true with RoofPax. Not only is their product a good one (anything can happen to any item), but the customer service is superlative. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend choosing a RoofPax item over others when shopping for an inflator or any other items they carry. I wasn't asked by the company to write this review and was not part of any promotion, I just think when a company stands so solidly behind their products that others should know and benefit!

Product failed on day one, total junk: I topped-off four tires, adding about 5 pounds to each, this took about 90 minutes, and after an hour adding air to tire number 5 I switched to tire number 6, and after and hour of that one running and getting nowhere I assumed the unit was overheated or something so I let it sit for a while. A half-hour later I went back to start it up and heard a hissing sound and found the air hose had a leak right near the body of the compressor. This dumb thing was draining my tire! I'll be returning it. How hard is it to make a 120v tire inflator? Ugh. UPDATE: I opted to give them another try with an immediate replacement but this one failed even more quickly than the first: On the first tire it got through 15 or so PSI before failing with a burning plastic smell and something broken off and rattling around inside the housing and the motors making an undulating sound (so that broken thing is probably the regulator that turns the motors off when pressure is reached?) Anyway, two tries and both failed on day one. These things are a great concept but unfortunately they appear to be poorly-built junk.

This is the second unit I have purchased from this company. I purchased this exact model about 3 years ago and put it through a lot of use! When my first one stopped working, I bought the same model as I was happy with the quality and features of this product. However, the new one would shut off before filling up the tires. I could not get it to inflate more than 15psi without the unit overheating and shutting off. I was past the time to return with Amazon so I contacted the company directly. RoofPax Customer Care was great! They responded within 24 hours and offered me a replacement unit. I only had to confirm my Amazon purchase information. The company shipped me a new unit and I am happy to report that this is a company which stands by its products! Thank you Jade P in customer service for taking care of my issues with such timeliness and care!!

I misplaced the battery for my tire inflator and inquired about purchasing a replacement. Roofpax sent a replacement at no charge. Enclosed with the battery were a step and an emergency seatbelt cutter. I am impressed by the exceptional customer service. Also, the product works flawlessly.
