I'm about 310 pounds and have been using this everyday for about three months and it is very good the only thing I recommend doing is putting a piece of duct tape or furniture pad on the bottom of legs if for hardwood floors or carpet and maybe some locktite around the threads especially if you are using for kids that jump on there bed dab some locktite and a piece of duct tape on the screws it should be fine alot of storage on the bottom I'm a big boy I can fit underneath the bed very good 👍 happy and pleased college room friendly personal use or for kids two beds would with comfortable in a 15x15 foot room

The metal bed frame was very easy to put together. I was able to put it together by myself after having neck surgery 5 weeks prior. I love that it is high (18 inches) off the floor. No trouble getting in and out of like my last bed, which was too low to the floor.

I bought this for my son so he could have under bed storage. It’s very tall so bins are easy to access. He loves the height and it also eliminates the need for a box spring. We had a little trouble finding a headboard to match the width so make sure you measure.

Assembly instructions are adequate but it helps if you have your own full size wrench. Assembly goes smoother with 2 people. This bed is super sturdy. I'm 5 ft. 9 in. and I kind of wish I had a stool to use getting into it. I don't mind at all though since I can fit a huge plastic bin underneath with all my shoes ! There is SO much underbed storage ! My existing headboard and footboard were wider than the frame, so I couldn't use them as intended. I eventually used zip ties to attach them, but it's not as sturdy as I'd like.

I actually plan to use it as a poor man’s trundle in my third bedroom in case of a future grandchild, by keeping a regular length twin underneath, or on top, to use during visits.
