It’s for my husband(5’10”, 160lbs). The seat is large; I’m sure could take a heavier/taller person). Easy to put together and break down(wheels off) for travel. Airlines check disability equipment for free. Travel bag from Amazon-we tried several. This one fits the rollator perfectly & has a shoulder strap. -New York Xpress-Large Duffle Bag w/zipper, handle-(28”x20”x14”)-Travel Bag CB-28” I’m 77 and had no trouble putting the rollator together or breaking it down to fit snug in the duffle bag. One must collapse one set of wheels and remove others. I used Amazon Velcro straps to secure all together to place in saved rollator plastic bags. Once in the duffle bag, I snugged everything tight with the Velcro snaps, leaving the handle and shoulder strap free for easy carry. It’s a life changer for a mobility challenged person to enjoy outings of all kinds. We go everywhere-just slowly!

I bought this to help out with some temporary balance issues. The big soft wheels let me comfortably go all over my hilly yard, my vegetable garden, and also allows me to take to my rough neighborhood streets for long walks. I even took it to a huge beer festival located on a hilly rough outside area, and walked around several miles over an entire afternoon. I was able to walk and rest and enjoy the festival because of this unit. So far, this rollator has helped me to over a mile and a half on daily walks through my neighborhood, and hopefully further! I am between 5’7” and 5’8” tall and about 145 lbs, but have long legs and a shorter body. I didn’t really need a “taller” persons’ rollator, but this turned out perfect for me! I had used my mother’s normal sized one, and had felt bent over. Not with this one. My hands rest right near my waist, my bottom rests at a perfect height when I sit down, and in general I do appreciate the larger size of it. You WILL definitely notice it is larger just by looking at it. It does take up a bit more room than a normal sized one, but I find the comfort in use so much more worth the trade off! I will say that I do have it set at its lowest settings for the handlebars and the seat. If you are much shorter than me, or have shorter legs, this may not be the best choice for you. I think the reason the seat height works is because of my leg length, and it could be a less comfortable reach for someone with shorter legs. I do love this rollator. But, the only con I can give it is the trouble it takes to open it up from a closed position. It closes up quite nicely and tightly. To open it, you have to spread not only both the top handlebars open, but then you have to use your feet to separately spread the bottom front wheels apart. It still doesn’t just pop open all the way. At least on mine, in order to open it fully and to be able to safely use it, I have to actually sit down on it. At that point you can hear it click into place, and you are ready to go. For me, a relatively small price to pay, but this could be difficult for some to do every time you open it up. Closing it, however, it very easy! You just pull up on a red strip of webbing on the seat, and the unit quickly comes together and neatly folds up. You can then use the wheels in the folded position to move the unit to wherever you plan to store it, and then use its’ levers to lock it in place. All in all, a great choice for me!

I was trying to make it to my hip replacement surgery by using a cane, but the pain and discomfort kept increasing to the point where every time I tried to walk, the pain in my hip was excruciating. My wife convinced me to look for a Rollator. I am 6’5”, 66 years old, and heavier than I should be due to my mobility issues. I searched for “tall man’s Rollator” and reviewed the choices. I knew that following my surgery, I would need to use the rollator’s seat. I was advised to find a seat height sufficient to keep my hip above my knees for a comfortable and successful recovery. After reviewing the selections, I ordered the Walk Mate Rollator based on its features and the reviews. My Rollator is very durable, simple to fold with one hand, and light and sufficiently compact that I can easily place it in my car trunk. The Rollator’s seat height (via the leg adjustments) and arm positions easily adjust to accommodate my long arms and legs while providing the support I required to heal. The seat is comfortable, and the back rest and easily-activated hand brakes (just push down on the brake handles to lock and return to neutral position to walk) inspire confidence when sitting and standing. The large wheels roll smoothly over smooth and more challenging terrain. Use of the Rollator for several months pre-surgery, and for an additional two months post-surgery provided me with the mobility I needed while helping me to minimize my hip pain. After all this use, it still looks new. The Rollator also comes with a cane holder that can be adjusted for almost any sized cane, and a removable cargo bag with reflector that is easily removed and comes with a shoulder strap that can be stored in the bag until it is needed. I am very satisfied with my Walk Mate Rollator and am very pleased that I was able to find a model that would accommodate my height and mobility needs.

I am 6'4" and had extensive back surgery. I tried another rollator but it was too short and caused me to hunch over when walking. This collator solved the problem and is much more comfortable to use. The pros: It allows taller people to remain upright when walking. It appears to be more lightweight than my other rollator but is still reasonably sturdy. Cons: The description says the seat is adjustable. It is not. It is fixed. I do not have an issue with the seat height but they should change the description. The instruction guide is not well written. They do provide a QR code that takes you to a YouTube video that better illustrates assembly. However it's not that difficult to figure out. Adjusting the brakes was probably most difficult. The guide says to remove the legs and turn them counterclockwise to make the brakes tighter. But the video shows adjusting them by turning the black knob/screw on the cable to adjust. (Similar to brakes on a bicycle.) The frame is oval shaped so it may be difficult to install a cup holder if that is something you want. Most other rollators have smaller diameter round frames. I'm under the impression they may have changed the design but didn't update the assembly instructions. Overall, I like this rollator. I would have given it 5 stars if the supplier took the time to write an accurate description and better assembly/user guide. Like many offshore companies, they might make a good product but tend to rely on AI or try to translate in-house instead of investing in a company to produce the information. It can result in frustration or unnecessary returns from customers.

Easy to assemble, easy for my father-in-law to use and most importantly very stable. The brake function works perfectly to lock the unit in place when sitting down or transitioning down a stair or over an object and not wanting it to roll away as its used for support to step over the object. He had a different one but it would not work for him as he is 6ft tall, and he walked hunched over. This has adjustments on the wheels and handles for height and can be effortlessly tailored for a persons preference. Its very easy to fold, simply pull the material handle that is on the seat and it folds up very simply. Fits in the back of a sedan without issue and it flattens when folded. When setting it back up its very simple, just push down on both ends of the seat and you will hear an audible click that the unit is locked open. The seat is very nice, wide enough for a larger person, cushioned and very stable. It has a compartment area for storage which is also a very nice feature. The paint and finish is very well done, the wheels are rubber and not solid so they have some cushioning over surfaces but are also large enough to handle grass, gravel and other terrain. Overall this is an exceptionally well built item.

I’m delighted with this rollator/walker! It is lightweight, folds easily, has a high seat, and perfect height of arms/grips. Very stable, too. Great value! The small metal ‘up-the-curb’ pieces just to inside of each back wheel makes it easy to do just that . I’ve had many kinds of rollators/walkers in the last 15 yrs, some much more expensive/heavy duty, and am most satisfied with this one. A memory foam cushion on top of the seat makes it a comfy one. The ‘basket’ is nothing to write home about-rather flimsy-but it holds my large purse, iPad, and large travel mug just fine. Because of the way it folds, there is really no other option. The wheels have worked well on sidewalks & grass. This is my travel/keep in the car walker because it is so easy to transport, in/out of car and for plane trips. Only Con so far is that it’s abit wider, making it more difficult to maneuver in our apartment. If you have lots of room in your home, should be just fine, Will update this when i use it on other surfaces. Overall, it deserves the 5 star rating!

I bought two of these for my wife and one of the brake cables broke on both of them. Since the cables are routed inside of the frame tubing, which seemed like a nifty idea at first, it'll be a pain in the neck to try to fix them. I could not find information on the gauge of the cable used on these walkers so the replacement cable that I bought ended up being too big to fit inside of the cable housing. Since these are a hassle to return and they are out of warranty anyway(only 30 days!), I will fix these myself with heavier gauge cables and housing routed outside of the frame tubing. I don't think I need to explain why this flaw presents a very dangerous situation to somebody who absolutely relies on a walker for stability. Buyer beware!
