With the M-Series, there are no snaps to manipulate, no roll or bundle to lash down or stow, no crossbars to negotiate, no folding or solid hinged covers to combat, no fabric shrinkage to struggle with, and, best of all, no worries about the security of cargo. Its patented, clamp-on track design makes it easy to install with the use of special tools. The cover even has a finger insulation grip to allow you to grasp and use the handle with ease. With the turn of the lever and key, the M-Series truck bed cover slides open with a torsion spring stowed inside a 3" aluminum casing. The cover can be pulled back with a built- in pull strap for smooth operation. The cover also features a patented, ratchet-style latching mechanism, enabling it to lock in place at four open positions. I purchased this along with the cargo manager. Installation took me about two hours to complete but if I had to do another one I can probably do it in about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent second guessing and rereading the instructions. Beware that the screw holes in the tailgate part may not be perfectly centered so be sure you center the entire piece to your tailgate as per the instructions. Also be careful when handling the cover housing. Some of the metal is rather thin and bends easily. While I have seem some reviews knock the product for the thin metal I wouldn't want it much thicker as that is just more weight added to the truck. Once installed I was super impressed. Wow what a great look. Before this I had one of those tri-fold types that have lever clamps which looked OK but not nearly as nice as this. The tri-fold cover did the job well enough but the clamps started to bend over time and opening and or closing it meant walking around the truck a few times. With this all you do is unlock the cover and give it a slight push. Just like that the cover retracts into it's housing which also resets the latch to the lock position. Then when you want to close it again you pull the supplied cord until you can grab the cover with two hands and you close it firmly against your tailgate. Since the latch reset upon entering the housing it automatically latches to your tailgate. Once latched you have the option of locking it with the key or not. I have not had a really good rain since I installed it but we are expecting heavy rains soon. We have a few light rains and so far no leaks. I will update the review if it leaks after the next heavy rain. Overall it looks great, works as advertised and combined with the optional cargo manager makes my truck bed way more useful. ... show more

Product broken after installation. It came dented. Assumed it would be fine as it would be in a hidden area. Installation went fine. Drove twice product stayed in place. Third time it unlocked and opened while driving down the road. Continues to unlock and open while driving. Does not stay closed at all. ... show more

Fit my 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel Perfectly. The cover is well made and has great features with locking cover which also locks at various positions along the length of the bed. With the talegate lock on the Rebel, works great together to secure items out of view. I did take great care to install with tight clearances and did have to add a thin weather stripping along the front bottom edge of the cover box to the truck bed to ensure it was weather tight as the cover box was slightly raised due to my side rail protectors on the Rebel. I have been through several hard rains with very minimal water entry occurring, like only a few spots occurring at the two back corners. Occurred more if the truck bed is down in the back, if the truck bed back is up a little compared to the front of the bed, then the water properly drains forward in the cover channels and drains out the cover box drains which are tubed outside the bed. Do note, the first cover I recieved was damaged beyond use, due to UPS handling of the unit (local UPS delivery guy drops it on the box end when getting it out of his truck which caused the most damage to the unit); the top cover was badly damaged and I tried to just get a cover replacement but Roll-N-Lock would not send just a cover to me. So I shipped the whole thing back. Second one was sent to me, which also arrived damaged by UPS, they keep turning the box on its side or top which damages the unit inside, but I was able to straighten the cover box areas up that were bent, not ideal but worked for me as the damaged areas where out of sight. Roll-N-Lock needs to improve their packaging to protect the unit on all sides, since UPS cannot read what is printed on the box (ie this side down, ONLY). ... show more

The product arrived on time and in excellent condition. Installation was a littler harder than anticipated mainly due to the outdated instructions that did not match the product ordered. I would also suggest that the manufacturer make a few changes on the tailgate track assembly. Upon following the instructions to locate the center of the GATE and install the track in the center of the gate itself I noticed that the gates are not always centered on the bed itself (even being off an 1/8 inch was a problem) and upon closing the gate the track did jamb on the side rails. The manual says to adjust the side rails as necessary however this throws off the tracks themselves on a skew and caused the cover to stick about half way down the rails. I was able to remove the rear track and mark the center of the track according to the center line of the bed instead and now the unit works perfectly and runs parallel to the side rails, not skewed. If they fix this issue in the manual as well as update the directions to show the current design it is worthy of a 5 star rating. All in all, I am very happy with the product and would recommend it over the competition. ... show more

Great tonneau cover. It might be a bit more expensive than others but it is well worth the money. It is easy to install, keeps your content dry and safe. I had a cheap BakFlip VP that didn’t last over two years. It had began to warp and leak. Take my word for it, save yourself some headache and get this one. You won’t regret it. ... show more

Shipping box was in perfect shape. The bent pieces on the main box, and the tailgate could not have happened while shipping. Also, the vinyl is torn on one side where it goes under the side rails. For this price, I certainly expected better quality control. The unit (if it was not already beat up) does seem like a good product, but very disappointed this was placed in the box like it was. Also, I believe the internal locking mechanism is bent or broken as it will not stay shut even after adjusting the rails to be perfect several times. It rolls great and measures to be perfectly center, but the lock will not keep it closed after driving for 5 mins. It will stay latched while parked though. ... show more
